Replacement gauge for old DACOR console

It was great to have measurements of this gauge so I could measure my console and see if it would fit my legacy DACOR console. It did so I was able to just pop out the broken old gauge and pop this one in. It was about 2mm too deep, but the rubber held it tight and have completed 16 dives and it hasn't slipped in the console at all. Firmly in place and very easy to read.

Nothing fancy, but does the job. Easy to read, illumination is minimal. Fit nicely in my Genesis console to replace the computer that broke.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
DERRICK K  this one no good, broken first time it was used
Dan S  What is the outside diameter and thickness of this gauge?
Frank L  It measures 2.25 inches in diameter and about 1 1/8 inch thick.
Shopper  Will this fit in the console boot for the Uwatec 2G?
MARTIN D  Sorry it took so long, I was away. I have been diving for 48 years. I put the depth gauge in my old Pennforms Console ( predates manufacturers consoles) because my old SOS Helium filled depth gauge finally went belly up after 40 years. I can't answer your question because I just don't know. Sorry
GARY S  Can't answer for sure, since I don't have that console. But I would think most of these gauges have standard size holes. Pretty sure if you buy it, try it and it doesn't fit, LP will take it back.
DOUGLAS L  A Deep Sea Supply SK7 mount shoud work. l'd use a dab of RTV just to be sure things are secure. Use the DSS Tec 2G mount. It's the same as the 2G. Having put a Tec 2g gauge/puck in a DSS mount, it fits snugly and you won't need any RTV sealant. Be sure you line-up the infrared port with the hole on the side to maintain its operability. Hope this helps, Doug
Michael W  Many companies have proprietary boots for specific gauges. Because they are not produced by the same manufacturer, it probably won't fit.
MICHAEL R  It will most likely not fit.
