There is nothing wrong with this "conversion kit". It is the DIN part for a 1st stage Oceanic Regulator, not really a conversion kit, rather a part. The bubble issue that the other diver is referring to is more likely an issue that is not uncommon with Oceanic 1st stages. For some reason I can not explain the allen screw that holds the exterior "screw" to the plastic fitting on this part comes loose frequently. I say this because I have four Oceanic regulators and it happens to all of them. A...lso several other divers who dive Oceanic regs have reported the same problem. Despite this somewhat annoying issue, I love my Oceanic regs.
You started diving with yoke style cylinder valves, but you feel the higher cylinder pressure available with DIN cylinders will be an advantage to your style of diving. Well this kit will allow you to do just that, Shed the yoke and increase bottom time with this 300-bar (4350 psi) DIN Conversion Kit for your 1999 and later Oceanic 1'st-stage regulator.
Also, Scuba divers who travel overseas will want to have a DIN adapter to convert to the tanks available at the local dive sites. The kit allows you to easily convert your first stage, if required, so you can use your own gear rather than rental gear! DIN assembly is constructed from marine grade corrosion resistant chromed brass. Higher pressure will allow you to extend your bottom time. Most HP cylinders are made from steel, so you can also remove some of the weight from your weight system due to the lower buoyancy characteristics of the HP cylinder.
This product can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

Is this the one for an Oceanic 95/px2 regulator? I bought in 2005 new yoke but getting ready to start tech and converting everything to DIN now.

Short answer: Think so, yeah.
real answer: Px2 are unbalanced piston regs. Had same idea you had I think. No good if you want to use on a stage below100'. Breathe hard. Iwould never use these on my back gas. Also, never o2 cleaned, so I wouldn't use on mixes above good ol 32. Save your pennies and get some good breathers. Balanced piston, balanced second stage. HOG makes some cheap good breathers. Google em before you spend your coin.

That is the correct part needed to convert your PX2 from Yolk to DIN. Have fun with Tech!
