About Oceanic Pioneer 3/2 mm Women's Jumpsuit

A suit made so well you'll barely know you're wearing it. The Oceanic Pioneer suit is an elegantly powerful collaboration between advanced thermal protection technologies, intelligent and innovative materials, and quality construction under the Oceanic name. This revolutionary suit takes advantage of an atomic design paired with core thermal protection material "Lavaskin", Ocean span Neoprene, Skin-In Seals, and Spandura.

Lavaskin:
The key to making any wetsuit perform to its ultimate potential is by reducing water transfer, allowing cold water to enter the suit and keeping that trapped water from escaping. Lavaskin material does just that by retaining the water in its revolutionary Cross Rib Knit. Lavaskin assists in thermal protection by trapping water in the indices of the knit, minimizing water movement throughout the suit. The diver's body heats the trapped water and provides an efficient insulator as you dive down to deeper depths as it will not compress.

Lavaskin, paired with Oceanic's latest technology in sealing system features, helps retain body heat for longer, more enjoyable dives. Suits Seams are Glued and Sewn with Stress Disks at all Internal Seam Intersections for added Strength and Durability. The Suit has an Adjustable Neck Collar that maintains an Effective Seal to prevent water flow. Suit is equipped with a Back Zipper Closure with Pull Leash for easy self donning and doffing. The Arms and Legs are Pre-Bent for a Superior Anatomical Fit. Reinforced Shoulders prevent slipping and wear from straps. The Pioneer 3/2 mm Jumpsuit is available in 8 sizes from 6 to16. Suit is covered by a 12 month limited warranty. Due to MFG restrictions, this can be sold to the USA and Caribbean only.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  How short are the short suits? I'm 5'1 and curvy, so I need it to be pretty short
Frank L  The short version is about 2-3 inches shorter in length than the regular size it refers to. Example: 12 short is for someone 5'3-5'5, where as the regular 12 is for someone 5'6- 5'9.
Deborah D  I'm in between women's sizes 12S and 14S. (Top of the 12 and low of the 14). Is it better to go up or down on this wetsuit? Do the sizes run true to size?
Joe S  The sizes are pretty good when it comes true to size. If you are on the edge as you described then I would say go with the 12S. Unless you absolutely cannot fit into the 12 in the lower, it is better to have a good fit in the core areas of the wetsuit to keep you warm. If you have to go with the 14S then it would be wise to fill in any gaps in the top portion with a core warmer like lavacore. It is important to keep your core area warm.
