really like this analyzer. quick and easy to use with a very "readable" digital display. quick and simple to calibrate. Extremely glad I purchased this.On a dive trip to Roatan it turned out I had the only working analyzer on the boat on two separate days of diving. if you dive nitrox you should own and carry your own analyzer (my opinion) - As other reviews noted it is NOT a pocket size analyzer, but it does the job. The analyzer comes in a plastic case that does provide some protection... when packed in your dive bag - not a "rigid / thick" case but a case nonetheless. Very happy with the purchase. the battery (9V) is very easy to replace - carry a spare. You will find yourself analyzing a lot more tanks than your own making you popular on the boat or on the dock when its time to analyze the tanks.
I bought this analyzer to carry into the field. I have a bench style oms at home. This one is right on the money with the OMS but much easier to use. I like it alot. Good product at a good price. Buy it.
The Nuvair O2 Quickstick is the first diver friendly oxygen analyzer available anywhere! Easy to use...effective...and amazingly affordable! The O2 Quickstick is designed for the nitrox diver who wants the security and convenience of having his own O2 analyzer and does not want to pay a small fortune to own one. Operating the O2 Quickstick is as simple as pointing at the tank valve and "shooting" with only one hand needed! Features magnetic On/Off switch and the replaceable thermally compensated sensor maintains accuracy levels that exceed dive industry standards.
The unit is totally O-ring sealed for excellent water resistance...and as one of the lowest priced consumer analyzer on the market, you will not be able to resist buying it! The Nuvair O2 Quickstick is powered by a user replaceable 9 volt alkaline battery, has a digital readout LCD screen for measuring O2 content at a glance. No hoses, adapter or cables required. The oxygen analyzer is made from anodized marine grade aluminum and is pocket sized. Unit includes a lanyard and owner's manual.

How is the green one different than the gold one besides the on/off swtich being in a different place?
JOSEF W
No Clue. Sorry

Honestly, I got the green one because it will be different from everyone else I know. This way there will be no confusion at the end of the trip as to which one is mine.
Boris L
How long the battery typically last (number of tests or hours/days)?
MICHEL M
I do not know because I returned it. I could not get a stable reading.

Ive had mine for 3 years. It came with a profession type Duracell battery. I use mine twice a week. I just replaced the o2 sensor after 3 years. The battery was still working. I changed the sensor and battery this week. (3years).

What O2 sensor does this use, and how much does it coast to replace ?
ROBERT S
I have used O2 analyzers from dive shops and others for years, time to break down and get my own. The Nuvair O2 Quickstick has always been simple, reliable, and easy to maintain.

Other positive reviews and cheaper O2 sensor replacement. $90 vs. $130 for other models.

From the research- one of the best O2 analyzers out there. They make the compressors so hope they know what they are doing.
