Based on the fit, I would go with a medium for you.

I bought this for my Dad (6'2" and 160#). It fits well as to the height and is even a bit saggy around the legs and arms b/c he is very skinny. It may be worth trying the XL for you (or the largest size). I bet that iut wil fit fine as far as your weight, but you may need the XL to stretch for the neight.

I am 5'10" and 250 pounds. Fits well. I think it is very forgiving suit. It stretches very well and their sizes are very accommodating.

I purchased a 3X and I am 6' and 240 lbs and it was a little loose and long. You might be better with a 2X. Leisre Pro is very good about returns. Try the 2X and see how it fits.

If your chest and waist are close to the measurements and you do NOT have a long torso one of these MAY fit. Your best bet is the 2XL or 3XL (depending on your measurements) in the Pinnacle Spirit 3mm Shorty Mens, Black/Marine Blue SKU: PINSP3M

what's the downside about ordering a front-zip shorty? most seem to zip in back - which seems less convenient.

i didn't know the Neo-Sport X-Span came in a front-zip. Mine is back-zip. I hear that back-zip is warmer because less water flushes through the suit. My wife uses a front zip because she says it's easier to use. I don't think my suit's back zipper is particularly difficult to use though. Back-zips always have a long cord on the zipper which is easy to grab and pull up or down.

I like the zipper in the back, cause its out of the way and if you lay on your chest with a zipper in the front it is uncomfortable. The strap on the zipper for the back is plenty long enough to zip up by yourself.

I think it is more a preference than a downside. I prefer to have the zipper in the back and out of the way from the BCD straps, buckles, clipped on light, etc. already in the from around stomach/chest. the long pull tab on the back zipper make them very easy to use.
these NEO shortys are a good product. have worn mine odozens of times and no real wear and a comfortable fit.

I am a fat slob I weigh 300 pounds and I am 5'9" I am evenly proportioned though and the gut isn't too big. I am a 46 waist , 50" chest , do you think the 3 would fit ?

I'm 6'1, 220, 44 inch chest and 38 inch waist and the 2X is nice and not too small. I like the suit a lot. Based on this, you could decide whether you think 3x will work. Good luck. I wear in in 66 degree water and I'm fine with a skin.

Just try it- LP has a great size/return policy.
All I can comment on is--My husband wears an XL he is 5'9" about 215 waist -38" chest-46" and he wears the Henderson skin under it comfortably.

Hi Moonrock W... It might be a little long. My husband is 300 lbs and 6'7" and it is just right for him. Most of his weight is in his waist so even with that, it is just the right length.

I am not sure that I am going to be any help, since I bought it for my Dad who is skinny and 6'1". The XL was the right height for him, but gapped too much around the legs. THe LArge worked out.

I am an Indian citizen. I have my sister in United States. I wish to order this product, but I am unsure about the size. My chest size is 41. Is it medium or large per US standards?

I would reccomend the XL-- my bust is 42 and it is snug.
My husbands chest is 42 tried the large and it was very tight

ML is a just my size to fit.

I'm not how to answer this.
I ordered a large and it fits, but perhaps a tad bit large, I am 41 chest too. The arms and legs are loose on me, but the torso is good fit.
All my full suits are medium large or medium tall and they fit fine. I am not sure why I ordered a large in this one. I did not try it on as I live in Alaska. Had I been thinking about it, I may have ordered a medium.
Sorry I can't say for sure, but I'd try the medium ... it will be snug, but that will give you better insulation.
