Got this from Amazon 3 yrs ago. 90% polypropylene, 10% spandex. Have used for more than 50 times now in sea-water under hot and humid condition (over 33C and 80-degree humidity) for kayaking and sometimes sailing. Not hot at all and does the job for temperature above 15C. Just throw it in the washer with cold water, short cycle and dry in half a day, either no detergent or use with bio-friendly laundry powder. Protect my skin well ( especially from the sun, no more sunscreen for the legs).

Buoyancy is not effected at all. I have two pair. They pack small, are easy to get on and off and can be worn under a wetsuit if you’re in colder water. I also wear them for bike riding when the temps are 50-60 degrees

I'm 5'9" 145 pounds and got a large. Not too big and very comfortable to wear, probably could have worn a medium but rather have room than being skin tight. Very pleased.

The material is fairly stretchy. Although, at 6'-1" / 210 lbs / 36" waist, an XL fits comfortably. As a side note, I have found that these (combined with a similar shirt) make great thermal underwear for cold weather work.

Can you use these suits to keep jellyfish from stinging,and what about covering the feet?

Sorry have no experience with jellyfish. It does stop those sea lice? From biting. I have Lycra socks and diving boots.

I would not count on these pants to stop a jelly fish sting and they do not cover the feet, they start at the ankles and go up to the waist. These pants will help add some insulation , keep the sun off, and stop some scrapes.

Yes. I use it as a base layer, then either track pants or or fleece pants (I dive in the Puget Sound). I don't have an undergarment and do not ever plan on getting one. For the top, I have first several layers of polypropylene shirts and then a fleece top.
If you are into winter sports or live in a cold climate in winter, these pants will be very practical.
