About NeoSport 7 mm Hi-Top Boots

A top choice among active divers, these tough zip-up boots provide maximum thermal protection and foot support. Whether navigating wet boat decks or sandy shores, the high-traction sole provides real stability, especially under the heavy load of scuba gear. The beefy #10 zipper is backed up by a special water entry barrier (WEB) that prevents water exchange and helps keep feet toasty warm.

NeoSports 7 mm Hi-Top Boots are manufactured from nylon 2 neoprene rubber. All seams are first glued and then sewn with durable abrasion resistant thread. The all-purpose traction sole has special puncture resistant insert for added protection. Boots are available in multiple sizes and are black in color.

Great Boot at a Great Price

It was recommended to me that I get a 7mm boot to wear over my dry suit booties, for cold water Kayak Fishing. New to salt this year. I have seen these boots in stores and on line, but never at this price! It was recommended to me that I buy 1 or 2 sizes bigger to accommodate, a. my suit sock b. a nice warm sock. Here is the NE the water is 40F in April when the stripers start to migrate into our bays and salt water rivers. Normally a size 9, I bought size 11. They fit great and can even ...

Fantastic Value

By

Purchased these booties mostly for winter use kayaking in Wisconsin. Have had other wetsuit boots in the past that cost 3 times as much and have not protected against the cold as well as these. I wear thick winter socks under them and never have any issues with the cold. Rubber treads provide enough grip for tough portaging over down trees and up steep muddy river banks, but avoid the bulk of fully treaded boots (I like to have some room for my feet in my kayak). The reinforced heal pad provides the extra layer between the cold boat bottom and my feet. Quality construction and great price.

Worked good, did not tear like the last 5 pairs I purchased they tear very fast at the seams this one did not. Amazingly still good to go.

Good boots if you have chicken legs!

By

from Virginia Beach, VA, US

I bought two sets of these for my daughters and after one dive I am getting ready to get rid of them. First, let me say my daughters are not by any means overweight and both of them as soccer players as well as divers. With that said, these boots would not zip up all the way because they were not wide enough around the leg. Unfortunately by the time I got them was too late to return them and we had to go on the dive, so now I get to keep them. So, if you are a guy with chicken legs like I am, then they are perfect for cold water dives, however if you are a woman or a guy with thick legs, then these are definitely not the boots for you.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

Questions about this item:

paul m  Hi. Are the reinforced heel areas strong enough to keep springs straps from digging in to the heel area and cause pain?
SHANNON H  So far I have not used fins while wearing the boot. I am a commercial diver and typically work inside small pipes with hand-jets and plugs. Thank you, Shannon Holloway
paul m  Sounds good! Thanks!
paul m  Good info.! Thanks!!
paul m  Nice response! Thanks!

paul m  Nice response. Thanks!
CARL G  Based on the scanty evidence of one dive, yes.
DAVID W  Yes I personally use spring strap fins and it does not dig into my heels in fact those boots are very comfortable with the spring secured fins
ROBERT L  Yes. I only did 2 dives with them...but that is one thing I noticed. No digging or redness. Have a good one.
MATTHEW T  Absolutely. The heels are reinforced with a heavy gauge rubber material that also protetects the toe area. These boots are heavy duty! They do not fit in the fins I have, which are a lightweight Cassini snorkeling version. They will however protect your feet from rocks and rough terrain as well as keeping your feet warm from cold water. They have a heavy duty zipper and Velcro cover to protect the zipper from slipping open and making a good seal around your ankle with wetsuit bottoms. Best boots I have ever owned. Needs a good size heavy duty fin to mate with.
BOBBY L  I personally have never noticed anything digging into my heels. They seem to do a good job in being soft and flexible but at same time offer warmth and some rigid protection. The only comment I can think of is they seem a little narrow in size.
Steve S  Yes. As you can see in the photo, the hard rubber comes up the back of the boot right where the spring strap would be. This helps avoid the strap digging into your heel.
MICHAEL T  Yep. I've been using these boots with my Atomic split fins with spring straps. No problem with pain or discomfort whatsoever. In general, they're some of the most comfortable boots I've used.
