If you have dry pants get these and tuck them into your ankle gasket for a dry warm sock. I wore them for winter kayaking in the pacnw, and put a wool sock underneath and slid my ankle gasket over the top of them to create a watertight seal! They are seamed taped or something because unlike most neoprene socks these are actually dry (like having a gor-tex booty on you dry pants, but warmer).
You get to the take out, slide your ankle gaskets off, pull off the sock, and amazing you wool soc...ks are still dry! These are probably my favorite piece of gear! If you don't have a drysuit and are paddling in cold weather/water with dry pants these are a must have. I would give them 10stars if I could...there is nothing better than warm dry feet when playing in the rivers in the winter time.
