Comments about National Geographic 2 mm Men's Shorty-Experience Series:

I think the shorty wetsuit is probably just fine, but I can't get it on. I made the big mistake of ordering something in my size. It is at least two sizes too small, but now I'm worried about ordering one two sizes larger just hoping my guesstimate is right.

Comments about National Geographic 2 mm Men's Shorty-Experience Series:

Check the chart for sizing carefully! I just looked at the height and weight which I was right in the center 5'9" 180# so I picked large. The only problem had I looked further in the chart a large is a 30 to 32 waist and like a 39 inch chest. Couldn't get the thing above my knees seriously! The xl is even to small for me, although it does kind of make me feel like a real big guy but that don't get me in the water.

Comments about National Geographic 2 mm Men's Shorty-Experience Series:

I was very excited to get this inexpensive shortie. Sadly, by the fourth day of wear the seams began to fall apart. To get it repaired (sewing near seams is not that easy) the cost was higher than a whole new suit. I wound up making a side trip to Waikiki to pick up a ripcurl. Problem solved.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

        Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
LAWRENCE L  Cause it says Nat Geo
Shopper  What size should I choose when my waist falls on XL(32-34) but my weight falls on MD(165lb)?
GREGG S  I'm a 33" waist size and weigh-in at 173 pounds 5'9" tall. I elected to buy a LG, as I wear it over my old surfing full size wetsuit, however, if worn just by itself it still fits me nice, and it's not restricting at all. I love this suit, and people ask me if I'm with National Geographic, so it has added cache... I don't lie, and tell them no, but everyone seems to like the look of the suit. An excellent buy for the money. II hope this helps!!!
Shopper  is this water prof ?
LAWRENCE L  I am not sure what you consider water proof but this is a wetsuit. It works by trapping water inside it to be heated by your body and with any wet suit there is some small amount of water that gets in and out. But it is not rash guard material if that was the question.
