Great fins for long dives and swims in current. Used Riffe Silent Hunter's for years and am used to very stiff fins. The Razor's are a little softer and actually feel a lot lighter when diving. But I still have great performance.
Excellent Long Fins

Delivery was prompt and the item was just as described.
Mares Razor Pro is a new fin with an interchangeable blade. The foot pocket is incredibly comfortable due to the design developed in collaboration with a leading Italian foot (podology) clinic. Its shapes and the extra thickness on the instep and the tensioners under the arch have been meticulously researched to convey the maximum amount of energy produced to the blade, yet still provide complete comfort. The ample 22 Degree angle of the blade to the foot pocket allows the fin to become a natural extension of the leg, making fining easier.
The variable-thickness blade bends during the various phases of fining action, achieving an ideal flexion curve; this is due in part to the use of the best techno-polymers, the true core of agility and elasticity. The special design of the channels on the blade and the lateral stringers on the foot pocket make it possible to channel and increase the flow of water toward the pronounced V" at the tip, increasing thrust and preventing the fin from slipping laterally. Its light weight and power give the Razor Pro the best yield among all the techno-polymer fins currently available on the market. The size 7/8 (41/42) fin blade measures 34.65" (880mm) and weighs 31 oz. (1,095g). Fins come in multiple sizes and colors.
This product can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

I am a men's 13 and wear 2-3 mm sock, what size fin?
Mario C
they run large... i expect the 10-11 should work.

I wear a 9 1/2 mens athletic shoe. I am interested in this but would probably be using with a 5mm sock. So what size fin would you suggest, and any suggestion for a new 5mm sock? Cold up here in Oregon/Norcal.
ADRIAN H
Hi Dan. Get a 10 size if you have wide feet. However if you have narrow feet than go for 9 1/2. As far as sock brand go for pathos. Good luck.

Hi Dan,
For the fins all depends on what kind of diving you do. Pure free diving i.e going down straight very little lateral moves required they are phenomenal. Spear fishing (no tanks) they are much too rigid to allow you to be nimble and able to effect quick turns often required in spearfishing. Socks 5mm where you are seems to be right I would go with a size higher for the fins. Hope this was helpful.

Probably best if there’s a Dive Shop around you to grab your booties and go try on the find to be sure and then obviously buy the feelings at leisure pro for a much better price. I would say you probably need to get a size 10 and possibly a 10 1/2 ..you want to be comfortable and not squeezed into a tight fin where you will get cramped.. remember in diving comfort is key 😊

I have never had a pair of long fins. which fins the black (stiffer) or the grey (softer) better?
BERNARD K
I purchased black and like them as they do not flex - the less flexibility works better in my opinion. Using for two years and living them.
JESSE D
I prefer a stiffer fin. I feel you kick less to cover the same distance but there is more resistance. If you have the leg strength get the stiffer.
JERRY K
As I only own the stiffer blades I will address them. They have a comfortable foot pocket and great propulsion. However because they are stiff and long they do tend to cause ankle and calf fatigue. If you are aware of this then you can adjust your kicking action to minimize the fatigue. They allow a diver to ride currents with very little motion but to also turn into a stiff current and kick into it.
DENNIS R
The grey are softer and better for long period of swimming and the black are stiffer and require a strong kick but is good for strong currents but at the cost that your feets will get tired fast I suggest the grey I bout the blacks because at the time day did not have them I hope this helps you out.

I've used only the black but in both deep water hunting and shallow playing, I like them. Very responsive and powerful.

Hello,
I have a US male show size of 10.5 and my feet are wide. Should I get the 10-11 or the 8.5-9.5?
Please take into account I will be wearing 2mm or 3mm Neoprene socks. Thank you in advance.
stefan p
I think 7-8 would work for you. I wear shoes 9.5 and bought the 5.5 - 6.5.
DEBORAH R
I'm size 10.5 and i bought the 8.5-9.5 size fins. I wear 2mm neoprene socks as well and they fit fine, due to the open toe. I'd rather have tighter fitting fins than looser.
DENNIS R
You should be fine 10-11 with neoprene socks because de do run a size bigger but with the neoprene socks will give you the perfect fit would suggeste the 2mm neoprene socks because I have theme in 3mm and are to big and will be to tight on the fit witch will give you cramps later wren your in the water hope this helps and good luck on your purchase they are great fins good trust on currents.
YAN G
I would try the 10-11 first, and see how they fit.
JERRY K
I bought them 2 sizes smaller than my normal shoe size and that worked for me
