Comments about Momentum Watch Momentum M50 Mark II Black Face with Black Hyper Natural Rubber Band:
I have to say I am very picky when it comes to watches and if the watch is an analog the arms must line up at 12:00:00.
After my wife got her M1 I had to get my own so I ordered a M50
So after receiving the watch first thing I notice was that the watch box that it came in the M50 was banging around lose in side and hitting against a metal bracket that is used for displaying theM50, you can see marks inside the box. I don't think the M50 had any scratches but it just shows how cheap Momentum is on packing material.
With the Minuet Hand at 12 I checked the 12:00:00 aliment and all 3 hands are off.
The Second Hand is to the Right and the Hour Hand to the Left.
On top of this the Bezel was off to the left.
So I emailed Momentum Customer Service to see if I can send in the watch for repair I was refused.
And was told "The M50 movement will have some play in the gearing from movement to movement. I have attached our "Tech Bulletin" for you to read on this subject. With regards to the bezel the M50 bezel has 60 clicks and so will also have a level of play between clicks."
The bulletin talks about gear play and gravity.
But having the watch leveled the results were the same
This issue is here is not gear's, it is poor assembling
The bezel on the M50 is tight and has very little play. My wife has 2 x M1 and the play is big so I see what the Momentum Customer service is telling me but not on a M50. I guess I will get my 3rd SEIKO Diver watch, Never had this problem.
