This adolescent water rescue manikin is made of durable plastic with a rust-resistant skeleton and articulating joints. As the manikin fills with water, the manikin will sink up to the neck simulating the weight and size 22 lbs (10 kg) 49" x 16" x 9" (124.5 x 40.6 x 23 cm) of actual adolescent. Used by Lifeguard training agencies, U.S. Coast Guard, and other rescue and emergency agencies.
This manikin is excellent for surface or underwater rescue training evolutions, including aquatic spinal injury management training. Water Rescue Adolescent is ideal for a variety of water rescue training including Man Over-Board Training, Top and Bottom Water Rescue & Retrieval, as well as Swift Water Rescue.
Rescue Adolescent is made of durable vinyl plastic with a rust-resistant steel skeleton, articulating joints, and optional CPR capabilities. This mannequin includes a sealable chest cavity, a lower abdomen compartment, and fill-able extremities that allow it to maintain neutral buoyancy if necessary.
The mannequin takes on weight by filling up with water through the small holes drilled in the legs and arms. The mannequin's torso may be filled with water by opening the valve in the shoulder. When filled with water, the mannequin will sink to its neck or mouth level providing an ideal training aid for surface CPR or rescue techniques. The water rescue mannequin can be fully submerged by removing the vinyl cover panel located in the abdomen of the mannequin and adding a 10 lbs (4.5 kg) weight which makes t a candidate for bottom recovery.
