Great gun ,it's very simple ,easy, and very fast.Leisure Pro is outstanding.

The spear gun design that started it all, the JBL Magnum series of guns is probably responsible for more speared fish than all other spear guns combined. It's no wonder; as this durable and accurate workhorse features a 1 1/4" (3.2 cm) drawn alloy barrel, corrosion resistant hardened stainless steel trigger, shaft and point. The JBL724SA shaft is made from 17-4 spring stainless for durability and long life shaft is 24" (61 cm) in length with a 5/16" (8 mm) diameter, and is hand-tuned for alignment then heat-treated for maximum hardness to reduce flex and provide optimum energy transfer. Handles are constructed of two-piece cast aluminum providing strength and ease of maintenance. Handles are constructed of two-piece cast aluminum providing strength and ease of maintenance. The Guns overall length is 32" (81.3 cm).

The Magnum Custom features two 9/16" x 14" (14mm x 356mm) Hi-Mod JBL214 bands with 302 stainless wire wishbones. JBL's unique latex formulation and dip manufacturing process delivers radical modulus strength. The power curve increases as bands are stretched for optimum performance. Special anti-oxidants help protect against harmful U.V. rays, prolonging sling life. Gun has a one hand safety and trigger operation.

The JBL825 Single Barb Point is an economical point for small to medium fish. The Tip is constructed of rugged 303 stainless steel, JBL fixed spear points are a perfect blend of durability and performance. The JBL825 has a 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) wing span. Each point is designed for low maintenance, dependability and most important results. The Gun is equipped with the JBL515 Shock Line. Sometimes we miss or we shoot a large fish and the recoil can pull the gun out of your grip, whichever the shock line will keep you in control. The Guns range is 12' (3.66 meters). Tried and trusted this is one hunting buddy you'll be glad to share a secret spot with. These guns are most suitable for spear fishing among reefs and rocks where heavy penetration is needed but range is not critical. The Gun is negatively buoyant and is totally made in the USA.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  where is the spool or reel that lets out the line and how much line is there?
JAN D  We have jbl 2 band and 3 band they r both great guns have shot 100 s of fish you can also change band size if too hard to load for a gal.
ROBERT H  There is no "spool" per se. The line is wrapped from front of the gun to the pistol grip area of the gun. When you pull the trigger, the line is automatically released. The line is approximately 6.5 feet long. You can make it longer if you want but I have found that length to be satisfactory. I bought one of these guns a few years ago and am still using it. It has been a great product. After each use, I wash it with fresh water (I use mine in salt water) and give it a good generous spray with WD40. Mine still looks like the day I Bought it. Hope this helps!
WILLIAM C  It has an approx 10 ft shock cord. A reel in the Pacific Northwest would be a disaster. You clip a float line to your gun in case you can't wrestle that 30 lb ling cod out of his cave on one breath.
COREY W  There isn't a spool or reel that comes with the gun. When u pull the trigger a small tab on the side of the gun releases and let's out line and shock cord a little less than 3 times the length of the gun. You must buy a reel separately. Although I never needed one and shot some pretty decent sized fish with only the line provided
Steve S  This gun does not have a spool. This does in fact have shockline though. The shockline is attached to the front of the gun and the back of the spear shaft. The shockline is about 12-feet long.
JERRY H  There's line attached to spear shaft. Range is 12 ft.
Richard R  What size are the spear points 6 or 7 mm?
ERIC M  I forget. The spearpoint that comes with the gun rusted away pretty quick, so I bought a new triangular point one.
Shopper  Whats the range?
LeisurePro S  Speargun range is generally 3x the length of the shaft.
Shopper  Do these spearguns hqave to be cocked manually? is there a technique or do you just use brute force?
LeisurePro S  The bands need to be pulled back with force.
Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
DON K  Good alround gun. Put alot of fish in the boat with it.
