If you're carrying any gear with you on a dive - like Shears, Spools, a Signal Marker Buoys (SMB), a Backup Light or Mask - you need to have that equipment at hand and ready to deploy whenever you need it. If you've Started Diving a Back Plate and Wing System or dive a Side-Mount Configuration, you already know how important it is to have Pockets for your Stuff.
Designed and Hand Made Entirely in the United States, Irikonji Elite Dive Shorts were developed by SCUBA Divers, for SCUBA Divers. Unlike Glue-On Pockets, BC Pockets, Thigh Rigs, or Neoprene Pocket Shorts, Irikonji Elite Dive Shorts are built using only the Strongest Materials and Construction Techniques available. Irikonji Elite Dive Shorts put your gear where you need it - not on the Side-of-Your-Leg like Dry Suit Pockets do - but Off-Set on the Front Thigh so there's no interference with a Side Mount Configuration. And your Gear is Completely-Secure because Irikonji use an Industrial Grade of Kook-and-Loop on all of the Pockets. You'll also notice small design details that make a big difference, like having the Loop on the Pocket Flap so your Wetsuit doesn't Snag on the Hook Material when you Reach-Inside your Pocket, Polymer D-Rings inside and Grommets at the Bottom of every Pocket, and being able to Tuck-any-Excess Belt Webbing inside your Waistband.
Irikonji Elite Dive Shorts feature Stainless Steel Grommets, a Polymer YKK Zippered Pocket, and Shock Cord Loops inside your Front Cargo Pockets for Low-Visibility Situations. Plus, the Ultra-Rugged 1000-Denier Cordura Nylon Shell will Survive Serious Abuse while the Super Soft Lycra Liner eliminates all Chafe, even if you're carrying a lot of Gear and Hiking Long-Distances while Wet. The Shorts Dry-Fast, have over a Storage Capacity of 274.6 cubic inches (4,500 cubic cm), Integrated Belt: Nylon Webbing and Clip and much more.

Comments about Irikonji Elite Dive Shorts, Black:
Made in the U.S.A. and it shows. These are of very high quality, outstanding material and craftsmanship. Pockets lie flat until loaded and have enough room for any assortment of dive tools or accessories. I wear these over an assortment of rash guards and light wetsuit bottoms. Because of this the only recommendation I have would be elastic waistband relief to accommodate different undergarments. I would love to don these over my dry suit but would need to buy a second pair in a larger size.
The only con I have is the price. . . I get the made in the U.S.A and I am more than happy and willing to support U.S.A. manufactured products whenever I can but the $190.00 price for a pair of shorts is somewhat egregious.
