Great vest

from Daly City, CA, US

Great vest. Order 1 size up (I normally wear mediums for everything, the medium in this vest was too small, large was perfect. 5'9 ~160lb) I took the vest out both diving and snorkeling. I tend to get cold on dives using rental suits in various states of disrepair, particularly places that offer nitrox and this added just an extra bit of warmth and is just what I needed. It didn't feel constricting under a wetsuit or cause water to run flow through the collar (I was afraid of the extra bulk in the collar area). The zipper is high quality and I had no problems getting it on or off. The arm holes are good and I was able to swim freestyle without feeling restricted. No issues with loose threads etc, I expect this vest to last a long long time. Ditto on snorkeling for a small bit of additional warmth being exactly what I needed. I've found that even in Hawaii (water temps ~77-79deg) I get cold after 40min of snorkeling. This last trip, I stayed out to the 1hr mark comfortably because of the addition of this vest. I should have bought this years ago.

Love ??

from Macomb, MI, US

Just make sure to Order a large enough size. Runs a bit small. Go by chest size. I have a 46" chest and the 3XL is what fit me. Double X is what normally fits

Great Vest

from Milwauee, WI, US

Bought this for my husband. He used it last month on vacation and said it was a great vest. It kept him warm.

from Sparta, TN, US

Used the vest in St Maarten. Water temp was 84, and vest is perfect for tropical waters. I did have to reorder, due to a size issue. But Leisure pro is always great with size issues.

comfortable, easy access, undersized

I had to send the first L back and bump up. I knew my actual sizes, but this vest did not match the sizing guide. Order large.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Stan J  Price was right.
Jaime A  1) I have been ordering from Leisure Pro since 20 years ago with no problem so far 2) I have a Henderson wetsuit and the quality is excellent.
vic a  I plan to wear this vest over a 3mm or possibly a 5mm wetsuit. I have a 38 inch chest, 33 inch waist and 5ft 7in. My 3mm is sized as BARE MLS (Medium Large Short). What size would you recommend? I'm thinking Large based on the other answers.
JOHN S  Got me. Find a dive shop and try one on
vic a  I would if I could.
CHRISTIAN L  We are about the same size except I'm a little taller. And 381/2. Large works for me. I use it by itself and as an extra layer on top or under without an issue
RON S  Go one size up.
Brian D  Would this work better worn over or under a wetsuit?
ROB M  I bought it to wear when jet skiing in lake Michigan for extra warmth. Usually your wetsuit is your first layer of comfort, so I would buy it sized to wear over, and not under my wetsuit for the times I may want extra warmth.
PAUL M  I wear this vest outside my wet suit for extra warmth during night dives, and when I dive later into my trip. If it gets too warm I can always unzip it being on the outside.
STEPHEN S  I never wore it with a wet suit. Keeps me warm when diving in Roatan and Mexico.
LARRY J  I have always worn vests over the wetsuit for a bit of extra core warmth.
CHRISTIAN L  I've used it either way. I prefer over.
