About Henderson Thermoprene 3mm Womens Front Zipper Long Sleeve Shorty

Great travel companion, this Long Sleeve 3mm Shorty jacket is outfitted with a generously cut front-zipper that some divers prefer for easier donning. An anatomically friendly suit design translates into a form-enhancing fit and better thermal performance. As with all Thermoprene suits, divers also get the benefits of the best in construction techniques. The abrasion resistant Thermoprene material is both glued and blind stitched, which clamps down on water seepage and provides tremendous durability. Cuffs are finished with a Lycra trim.

Divers seeking a great value will appreciate Thermoprene's balance of performance and price. The latest technological innovation from Henderson, this new material delivers greater flexibility and improved features not found in standard neoprene wet suits, yet at a reasonable cost perfect for the cost-conscious buyer. Thermoprene is crafted from a high quality nylon 2 neoprene and a low pill fabric. It has 75% more stretch than standard neoprene. Thermoprene is noticeably easier to don, pulling over the shoulders and around the torso with less huff and puff than standard wet suits. Also, the fabric's exterior stands up extremely well to the wear of BC straps and weight belts. Suit is available in multiple sizes and is black in color.

3mm long sleeve shorty

from Hanover, MN, US

I am very pleased with the shorty. I purchased it for a dive trip to the Caymen Islands. Easy to get on and off with the front zipper. Was true to size. Would recommend.

from Coventry, RI, US

Lesuire pro is best online scuba diving equipment that I have ever used. I buy so much from them and they are very resonable that and shorty wetsuit was to my sasitisfaction thank you.

Wetsuit fit

from Chicago, IL, US

Woman 5'7" 145lbs 35 inch bust ordered size 6 and fits perfectly! The size chart had my measurements listed at size 8 and the chat expert stated to order a 10. I went with the size chart but had to return it for a size 6. Wetsuit is very stretchable and fits like a 2nd skin. Tested diving in Caribbean waters and was comfortable, dry, and easy to remove and put on with a cross body zipper. Preferred long sleeve wetsuit for protection against coral abrasions.

Henderson 3mm front zip jacket

from Eden Prairie , MN, US

Fits perfectly--am 5'4" 130lbs, got the size 8. No binding at neck, accommodates my curves.

Easy to get into, true to size, and well priced

from Brooklyn, NY, US

Got this suit to use on its own (don't use it with a farmer john) for diving in the Turks and Caicos, and it's done perfectly for the 78-83 degree water. It's held up really well over time. And I really like that Henderson's women's suits are really shaped for women (I've found a lot of women's wetsuits not particularly accommodating to a more hourglass figure). Highly recommend.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Kathi M  hard to find front zipper; full return policy
Franklin W  Great price and quality, Just what we need with the cooler summer waters and hard sun in Galapagos
Jeene C  I am 152cm, about 113lbs, 34inch chest, 29inch waist and 15inch armhole. Which size should I get and is it stretchable enough to layer a lavacore L/S hooded shirt underneath? Thanks!
MARCIA L  I weigh about 105 lbs. and 5'3". I wear my bathing suit under the wet suit. I bought size small. It is snug, but it will stretch. I don't know if you wear a heavy sweat shirt what size to suggest. You want it to be tight so you could stay warm.
RITCHIE P  I'm 156 cm and 135lbs, pear-shaped, and got a size 10, which fits well with a swimsuit underneath. I'm not familiar with the shirt you mention, but there is a bit of give. I should think you'd take a size 6 or smaller.
J B  Hi I always order a larger size than normal just so I can layer. I'm in pool for a 5 hr stretch teaching so layering works best. I actually use Cuddl Duds underneath for several more layers. Zip fronts are the way to go!! Have fun!
MARY C  I suggest a woman's small size. Remember, you can return it if you need a different size.
ANN L  No to the hooded shirt and anything long sleeved. It should be snug, a one piece bathing suit works best. I am 5'9", 36c, 159lbs and the size 10 fits like a glove. Not to tight not to lose. I can say that I spent time with the leisure pro rep in determining the best suit and fit, they were wonderful to deal with. The suit is awesome, it is not to thick, good mobility in the water. Once you get in the water there is a few minutes of adjusting to the water temp-cool water runs in, is heated by your body and creates a comfortable insulated feeling. It was perfect for snorkeling in the Florida keys Mar. 4th when the air and water temp was chilly. I had excellent mobility and was able to stay in for a long period of time (I don't do well in the cold). It was so worth the money to not have to wear a smelly rental suit.
Sheree K  Need to get at least a size up from what you normally would buy
Gayle M  Does water get in the top with front zipper?
Margarita S  no more than any other part of the wetsuit- it doesn't leak, if that's your question.
David J  Answer from my wife, I bought this for her:. Yes, it's a wetsuit. Water gets in everywhere. I love it because of the front zip. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.
J B  Water has never gotten in the top - I love the front zipper
ANN L  Yes, this is not a dry suit, the water is cold at first but then it warms to body temp. It worked great snorkeling in Florida in March.
JUDY D  Yes.
MARY C  Hi Gayle, I've had no problem with mine. In fact, I love my Henderson zip front! Go for it! Mary C.
