About Henderson Thermoprene 3m Men Front Zipper Long Sleeve Shorty

Great travel companion, this Long Sleeve 3mm Shorty jacket is outfitted with a generously cut front-zipper that some divers prefer for easier donning. An anatomically friendly suit design translates into a form-enhancing fit and better thermal performance. As with all Thermoprene suits, divers also get the benefits of the best in construction techniques. The abrasion resistant Thermoprene material is both glued and blind stitched, which clamps down on water seepage and provides tremendous durability. Cuffs are finished with a Lycra trim.

Divers seeking a great value will appreciate Thermoprene's balance of performance and price. The latest technological innovation from Henderson, this new material delivers greater flexibility and improved features not found in standard neoprene wet suits, yet at a reasonable cost perfect for the cost-conscious buyer. Thermoprene is crafted from a high quality nylon 2 neoprene and a low pill fabric. It has 75% more stretch than standard neoprene. Thermoprene is noticeably easier to don, pulling over the shoulders and around the torso with less huff and puff than standard wet suits. Also, the fabric's exterior stands up extremely well to the wear of BC straps and weight belts. Suit is available in multiple sizes and is black in color.

Shorty fits the bill

By

from Chapel Hill, NC, US

II used this for my open water dives in a quarry, and plan to use it in the Caribbean as well. It fits well everywhere except the butt and legs are a bit loose. I added 1.5mm neoprene shorts to help close the gap. Perfect above the thermocline, only a bit cold below it.

Easy On Off

By

from Salina, KS, US

This is a substantial improvement over my 20 year old Henderson full length suit - easy on and off and just as warm.

Fits great and kept me warm

By

from Saint Peters, MO, US

I bought this to work in warmer water and it worked great. My plan is to use this in combination with my farmerjohn in colder water. I've done this in the past with rentals and it seems to work well and keep me warm.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Franklin W  Great price and quality, Just what we need with the cooler summer waters and hard sun in Galapagos
jim m  I like the comfort of the thermoprene material. I also got a perfect fit. Seemed like a good value compared to their full suit.
joohn B  I am 6' and my son is 6'1". I am 180ish and he is 170ish. The XL is way too baggy on both of us and will not seal. I'm afraid to order the Medium as the height and shoulders might become uncomfortable. What should we do?
PAMELA M  I'm 6'2" and 180. The XL fits me well. I tried a medium and could not get my arms through the sleeves. You may want to try a large. I hope that helps.
JONATHAN M  I am 5' 11" 200 lbs and I wear the XL with a farmer John. I suspect you'd both be good with a L.
Norberto B  I am 6', about 200 lbs and the Large fits me perfectly.
PAUL D  Go Large then….all sizes nowadays seem to run small…good luck!
CRAIG M  I am 5 8 and weigh 165 and bought a medium which I am ok with, it is a little snug but that is how I like it so I would assume a large would be good for you
Karl G  I'm 6'1' 175 and the large fits me perfectly.
CHERYL S  My husband owns a M in the suit and it fits him very well (snug but not overly tight). He is 5'9" and 155 lbs. I am afraid the M would be too short in the torso? Maybe a L?
jorge o  Im 5'11, 145 pounds, what size should i get?
BARBARA W  I am 5,9", 138 lbs. I got size small and it is perfect. You should get the size medium.
ANDREW B  I am 6'5" and 240 lbs I got 3X
Patricia M  My husband is 5'10" & 150 pounds. He wears a medium. Hope this helps.
jorge o  Does it fit thigt on him?
Patricia M  yes, but you want your wetsuit to be tight. Leisure Pro is good about returns if you don't like the way it fits
STEVE F  Your best answer would come from the knowledgeable staff at Leisure Pro, give them a call. They've always gave me good info in the past.
FRANK K  I am 6foot, 180 lbs and got the XL. First I ordered the L but it was way to small. I would suggest a L or possibly a medium. Hope this helps you. I really have enjoyed the this wet suit.
