This is a great suit. I'm 6'4 190lbs and got a Large Tall that fits me really well. Used it a couple of times in colder waters and worked out great. However, I would not recommend this for longer periods when diving below 70F.

I'm reviewing this before I've worn it in the water so this is just to help with sizing. I wear a size 14 clothing. I'm between the W1 and W2 sizes. My bust and hips fit W2 but waist W1. I went with the smaller size because I couldnt find a reaaonably prices W2 and after reading reviews saying it was very stretchy. I'm glad I did. It's snug the way it should be without any gapping. I have large arms so I worried about that but the sleeves fit just fine. My bust is larger than the size chart b...ut the suit stretched to accomodate without smashing my breasts. The large sections of neoprene without seams really helps maximize the stretch. I'm 5'6" and the length of everything was perfect. It may be too short for ladies over 5'8".
The cut is flattering on the front. The blue and purple panels make it fit your curves. I'll update my post once I've gotten in the water with it a few times.

Does this have zippers on both the ankles and wrists? If so, does it have a seal underneath or does the entire cuff zip open? I am looking for one that zips open to make putting it on and taking it off easier.

Mine is an old one, but no zippers on ankles. Great wet suit though.

No, there is not zip on wrists or ankles. The only zip is the big one in the back.

The suit is pretty heavy duty and would be great if the water temp is under 60 degrees Fahrenheit. I used it for swimming in the cooler months and it kept me toasty warm.

This is a great wetsuit. It can be used for surfing if the water is on the chilly side. otherwise if you are doing warm water surfing use the 1.5 mm Have fun

I use mine for scuba diving but I don't see why it wouldn't work for surfing? It's very warm and comfortable. Way easier to move around in over my 7mm.

I'm not sure how good an answer this is but...I have a 5 mm henderson suit for scuba diving that has stood up very well and kept me warm in water temps in the mid 70's. My 5 mm Henderson is not made of the Thermoprene material, but I have another, 3 mm suit that is Thermoprene. That material makes t's so much easier to get on! I think the combo here of a 5 mm suit made with the Thermoprene will give you the warmth and ease of on/off that you are looking for. It looks like it's on sale too!

Only difference is a smooth patch on the front to limit suit abrasion from the board. Up to you may not last as long. I use a surf wet suit for diving never had an issue.

It is somewhat stretchy, but the Hyperflex suits are better for surfing.

I don't know why it would work for surfing. It keeps me warm in 70 degree water when I scuba.
