Great wetsuit

By snupa

This is a great suit. I'm 6'4 190lbs and got a Large Tall that fits me really well. Used it a couple of times in colder waters and worked out great. However, I would not recommend this for longer periods when diving below 70F.

Great for plus size ladies.

I'm reviewing this before I've worn it in the water so this is just to help with sizing. I wear a size 14 clothing. I'm between the W1 and W2 sizes. My bust and hips fit W2 but waist W1. I went with the smaller size because I couldnt find a reaaonably prices W2 and after reading reviews saying it was very stretchy. I'm glad I did. It's snug the way it should be without any gapping. I have large arms so I worried about that but the sleeves fit just fine. My bust is larger than the size chart b...

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Rhonda J  Hi I have a couple of questions. This will be my first dive suit and am wondering if the 3mm will be sufficient for diving in Cozumel in October? Additionally, I am uncertain of whether to go for the 6 or 8 as some people in the reviews say they run kind of big. I am 5'3" and 125 lbs. Thanks
PAULA M  I'm 5 7 and 140 and the 10 fits fine; Used the suit in 70's in the great barrier reef and it was fine. Is good in the low 70's but may not work if in the 60's. Not sure the temp in Cozumel in oct.
KIM C  Love the wetsuit go with the 6 , they do run big , I'm going to Mexico the first week in Oct 3mm is perfect ,Kim
SUZANNE T  I agree, the 3mm should be fine for Cozumel. I used a 3mm in Cozumel and was very comfortable. I like this suit in that the zipper is in the front...you can't find many like that. Have fun!
JODY B  Yes, the 3mm should be fine. The water temperature in Cozumel in October is probably 80 - 82 degrees. I think 3mm is fine for an hour dive in water as cool as 77 degrees. I'd recommend the size 6. They do run a little large. The filter the fit, the warmer you will be.
Rhonda J  I saw in some of the reviews that the sizing is a little bit different. I am going on my first dive to Cozumel in October and have two questions. One...will this be a good suit for that time of year ? And two..I am 5'3" and 125 lbs. I am going back and forth on the size 6 or 8. Thanks
ANNE B  Yes 8
KATHERINE L  Hi, I think the 3mm should be fine for Cozumel. I'm 5'4 and 127lbs and size 6 fit me perfectly. Hope that helps. I really like the front zip so much better than a back zip too!
MARIANNE M  I purchased this wetsuit and took it with me to Cozumel in March and I was very comfortable. I don't think the water temp changes all that much throughout the year in Cozumel -- I have been there numerous times in different seasons. I found the one I ordered to be quite true to size and fit me perfectly. I love it!! I have a short version too and love that, but because of the currents in Cozumel the long one is nice to avoid getting cut up if you hit the coral accidentally. Have fun!!
WENDY S  Agree with everyone else. I dive with it in Belize, just below Cozumel. You don't need anything thicker. It does run large so the 6 should work for you.
Sherri B  As everyone has told you, the weight is perfect for Cozumel that time of year. This suit is more flexible than most so go with the smaller size. I love it! My only disappointment was the pink fades quickly. But the comfort is wonderful.
SARA G  Hi! This suit should be perfect for that time of year. To be sure, perhaps you can google the water temp for Cozumel in October. I believe that a size 6 will be perfect for you. An 8 might be too big depending on how you are proportioned. I am 5'5" and 130lbs; size 6 is perfect for me. This is a great wetsuit that is really comfortable. Have fun!
MERRY S  I love this suit!!" it is so easy to put on. i do wear a skin underneath because i do get cold. it will be perfect in cozumel in October. i ordered my regular size i think it runs pretty true to size . have fun in cozumel. it is my favorite place to dive.
VALERIE L  I personally bought a size smaller than my regular size and it fit perfectly. I usually wear a 1 mil in warmer water but the last 2 dive trips I wore a 3 mil... blood must be getting thin as I age :) Hope the info helps!
ILENE S  We dive in Cozumel in March and September and I wear this wet suit for both. I also wear a hooded dive vest under it, in March for the warmth but also to keep my hair in place and not tangling in my mask strap. I am 5'4" and 135, I purchased both a size 10 and 12, I kept the size 10.
Shopper  Is there a difference between the one piece wetsuit and jumpsuits? For this jumpsuit, are the boots attached?
LeisurePro S  The term jumpsuit just refers to the one piece nature of the wetsuit as opposed to a shorty or a farmer john. There are no boots attached.
Shopper  Would this suit work for warmth & flexibility purposes to exercise in a 55 degree outdoor pool?
LeisurePro S  You will need a 7 millimeter suit 55 Fahrenheit is very very cold
