What is Henderson's sizing as compared to O'Neill? I take a 3XL in O'Neill rash guard wear but they are known for fitting small. I typically take an XL in a normal tee.
I'm not familiar with O'neal so I can't say. But the Henderson runs a little all too. I wear 2X shirts typically and the Henderson I ordered was 3X. It was a snug but comfortable fit.
I bought the Henderson Hot Skin Rash Guard for a trip to Hawaii and dove twice a day for 8 days and also snorkeled every day. Shirt help up very well and dries quickly.
Not sure about the O'Neill sizing but I just tried the Henderson on and then took some measurements. My chest - 43", circumference around the widest part of the deltoid - 51", bicep - 15", around the bellybutton - 39". I usually wear a large shirt but the Henderson is an XL. If fits comfortably snug, not compression tight on the arms and chest, slightly loose around the belly. Doesn't roll up when in the water like some others I have used. Seems to run 1 size smaller than 'big name' short sleeve athletic gear.
Hope this helps.
I am 6' 7' and 350 pounds. This is a bit snug, but fits rather well as I expected. I don't like to have clothing that trails behind me as I swim or dive and this size fit the bill for me.
I am 6'2" tall and weigh 210. I typically wear a Large T-shirt. I ordered this shirt in XXL and it is sloppy big on me. I think that an XL would fit me loosely and a Large would fit more snugly. So, I'd say that if you want a more compression fit like an Under Armour shirt then go with your T-shirt size. If you want it to fit more relaxed then go up one size.
I normally wear an XL tee. I bought a 2XL in this and it fits. I also wear a 2XL in Henderson wetsuits...
