About Henderson Aqua Lock 7mm Boots

Designed as part of Aqua Lock system these 7mm Boots utilize the same construction techniques employed by all Aqua Lock Wetsuits. Every seam on the boots is first double glued and blind stitches inside and out. Then the outer seam is coated with a special waterproof Aqua Lock liquid tape barrier which seals the seam from water entry and also helps protect the stitching from damage and unraveling. The interior of the Aqua Lock boots are lined with a golden micro fleece lining which dries quickly and feels luxurious against the skin. It also improves the ease of putting on and taking off the boots.

The Boot interior features 3 silicone O-ring seals which mate to the Aqua Lock ankle on the 5mm and 7mm jumpsuits. A special ankle extension allows for a secure grip when pulling boots over the mating skin ankle cuff. A beefy #10 YKK zipper assure years of hassle free use, while a special zipper lock secures the zipper in the up position during use. The Aqua Lock boot exterior features Henderson's renowned Aquasilk laminate which is also utilized in Henderson's flagship H2 boot series. The sole is Henderson's proprietary low profile design which is used in all Henderson boots and not available from any other company. Heel and toe protection are thermally bonded to the boot to provide long durable life in the most demanding conditions. Boots are available in multiple sizes and are covered by a 12 month limited warranty.

Henderson aqua lock 7mil hard sole boot

had these on my Christmas list after killing my feet with soft boots on gravel and rocky entries. all I can say is WOW. not only do I not feel the gravel and rocks under foot, but the Henderson aqua lock seal also prevents the water from rushing in and giving you a hard chill as you enter a cold water dive. boot has good heel support which makes working with doubles better than a standard soft boot or sock. great job henderson, I'm sold

Sole came off after 6 months of use

These fell apart within 1 year of purchase. Currently going through the lengthy Leisure Pro/Henderson warranty replacement/repair process which is equally frustrating. Would not buy these boots, or any dive gear, from Leisure Pro in the future.

The best boots for cold water

By

Those boots exceed, by far, many/most other similar boots in the range. They are perfect to stop cold water movement (there're seals inside), they're easy to get on/off, they "interlock" with other Aqualock componets, they make a perfect combination with lavacore socks for extremely cold waters - I used those boots down to 35F (with lavacore) - no issues with blood circulation, kept my feet warm and comfortable on 45 minute long dive - no even slightest signs of cramps. I use them with 7mm Aqualock suit (sometimes - with Hollis Neotek 7mm semi-dry one) and 5mm hood. I've "spoiled" all my buddies to buy those boots - one try was enough to convert them forever to Aqualock's :-))

Don't Recommend

I've had these for just over a year and 70 dives in Souther California. The sole came half off on both booties. From the toe to mid arch on my left boot and from the heel to mid arch on my right boot. My friend has the same pair and has had a similar experience with the sole as well. They are warm, but I'm currently looking for a more durable pair of booties.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Jordan D  Looked to be like a great pair of boots, is also needed with the Aqua lock system.
SCOTT C  I have a short wide foot 9 1/2 E. These boots are the only ones I have found that give my toes room and fit in my fins well.
DONALD D  I think Henderson is the best.
Shopper  How would you categorize the width of this boot?
DONALD D  Very good boots. I have been wearing Henderson boots for at least 10 years. I have a wide foot. Havent ever had a problem with them. Very comfotable.
JONATHAN W  It's pretty wide.
STEPHEN W  i ordered a size 13 i have a wide pretty wide foot. I wear new balances cause they are one of the only shoes that are wide enough for my foot. these were a little snug but they loosened up after a few uses.
AJAY P  Its good - being that its Scuba equipment you need to try to keep it as close to your foot length as possible. It stretches allowing for a little bigger on the width. In my case my foot is wider than normal - so i had to buy the next size. Even though the sides stretch, you dont want it to be stretching too much. And as always, Leisure pro is awesome if there is any issue with size of the booties.
BILLY C  Hard to say, but I have a wide foot myself and I was perfectly comfortable in these boots. They go great with the henderson Aqua lock semi-dri (which is amazing btw). Hope this helps.
