From Entry level to begining Tec-Rec. Best computer I've own

I have been very happy with all the Hollis line. Great Quality. This is my first dive computer. I tried a couple others but decided on this one as the one for me. I got it with a transmitter. Mine did work the the oceanic transmitter with no issue. The screen was very easy to read under water. I used this one on 15 dives in Bonaire. Just happened to be during TecWeek where I got to meet the Oceanic and Hollis reps.
This I would have to say is an amazing computer for someone who wants to di...ve and doesn't want to get a degree in rocket surgery to learn how to make it work. The menus are so easy and the learning curve is very shallow. This is a computer that will grow with you from a basic open water course to basic tec-rec diving running trimix.
When you want to go to set your gas mix, well you press the menu button once, go to "Set Gases" select gas, then set your oxygen level. Hold menu and it will tell you max operating depth. Select confirm , then boom it's set. The menu has everything spelled out. No dumb Menu A through U . This thing was so easy it was a dream. You can customize the display to a degree on this computer. It will use your air consumption and depth and calculate you remaining air to about 300 psi. I only know this because I sat on the bottom about 8' down and 10 feet from my ladder. Your counter will show zero minutes at 300 psi.
One of the features I liked is I could set my estimated dive time for a timed dive, turn pressure or both. I dived with mine set to the lowest conservatism setting and my computer was the same on my No Decompression Time as our other divers within 4 mins. If you are on the fence with buying this computer. Do not hesitate. For the value price of this computer and transmitter (paid about $600 for them together on sale) you can not go wrong.
This bad boy is as affordable as can be. The only computer I would get other than this would be the shearwater for using a rebreather, but guess what?! That's the compute
I bought the TX-1 because it was on sale. It was a great deal compared to comparable models from other companies.
I've used it now twice and it seems really good. The soft ware that comes with it makes it easy to set. And in the field it was easy to work with. I've had uwatec, Aries, and us diver . But I like this much better. I'm very happy with this unit.

It says optional transmitters 6, does that mean I can monitor 6 different transmitters while diving with my family to keep an eye on their remaining air ?
KEVIN F
Theoretically, yes. However, there is a maximum operating distance to maintain connection. If the transmitter is too far away from the computer, connection is lost. Therefore it is impractical to use it for that purpose as your family would literally have to be stuck by your sides for you to maintain connection. The purpose of this feature is to be able monitor multiple gases that are being carried on your person (for decompression dives or CCR bailout, etc).
If you need to monitor other peoples' air, you are better off with the Liquivision Lynx and extra transmitters.

Issues with synching transmitter with dive watch. Anyone have this issue?

Go on the computer program and enter the see number. It should pair right up
