First question I have is the specification of tank I can use.
According to the specification, it says "Cylinder Capacity: One Tank at a time". Is this mean it cannot take two tanks for side mount at same time???? It should be able to take 2 AL 80 tanks?
Second question I have is if this is a complete set? Do I need something else for two tank sidemount?
It comes with (2) Tank bungees, (2) SS Cam bands, (4) SS Bolt snaps & line included with kit, so you got complete set for TWO tank setup.
And as printed on the Hollis SMS 50 it can carry 2 X 15L tank or a single 20L tank, the aluminum 80 tank is 12L. So yes, you can carry 2AL 80 tanks with SMS 50 Sidemount system out of the box.
MAURICIO LEITE V
It supports one cylinder per side. Two AL S80 cylinders at the same time.
Not tested with more than two cylinders yet.
The Hollis SMS 50 comes complete.
You do not need anything else.
Maybe just a pocket for knife, flashlight...
It will accommodate two aluminum 80 tanks no problem. You may even use a small stage bottle with it as well. However, steel tanks will not work with this. Be careful not to overweight yourself since this BC has 23 lbs of lift.
It also comes with everything you need to rig the tanks to dive side mount. 4 boltsnaps, Cord, two cam bands. It does not include regulators.
Yes it can, and is built to, handle two aluminum 80's at the time. I'm pretty sure you could handle 3 (two and a stage) It technically comes with everything you need, depending on your buoyancy you *might* have to add two weight pockets or two 3 lb hard weights on the cam bands. If you get the sport model, swap the location of the hose to the bottom dump and the pull dump to between your shoulders.
