Comments about Hollis Gear Hollis Sidemount SMS 50 Adventure Harness:

I spent some time researching on side mounting and SMS 50 fits my usage. I am using HOLLIS products (Hollis S Series (Single Tank) Wings) and I am very confident with them. SMS 50 looks and feel even stronger and is very well thought out. The webbing's are very long, plenty to cut off. Outstanding Value. I have yet to find any downside to SMS 50. If I do I will let you know.

Shopper  In order to deflate a BCD with the over-the-shoulder hose, one has to raise his left arm whilst holding onto the BCD inflate/deflate hose. How does it work for this BCD? How the hose has to be held?
Joe S  The power inflator has is attached about 3/4 down the back of the bladder. You only have to slightly lean tilting your right side down to move the air to the position. It is very easy and just like with everything scuba, once you figure it out, it will become habit. There is the SMS50 SPort version which has the over the shoulder dump. This works the same as a traditional bc.
