Would this replacement corrugated hose fit on an AquaLung BCD?
I have a zeagle ranger bcd and the stated length was the same as mine. When I got it it was a tad shorter than the one I replaced. My old one was also secured by two zippy ties, this one has one but it seems secure.
I suspect it will but you will have to re-string the cable from the inflator to the release value on your BC if you want that feature to work. Since my application was on a back plate that was not an issue.
Should fit no problem
If the fittings that the hose attaches to on your BCD and inflator are 1 inch outside diameter it will fit. The inside diameter of the hose is about .9 inch so that it stretches to fit snugly.
I used it for a Hollis SMS 50 for sidemount diving. It was a different diameter hose than the SMS 50 had, but worked just fine. The SMS 50 had a hose that was almost oval shaped or an elongated "O", so I was nervous. But, it fit right on there no problem. I've since taken it to Truk and Palau with many dives - no issue.
Yes , as long as it is the proper length and diameter .
Don't know for sure just from the brand - the key here is the 1" internal dimension of this hose. If the external dimension of your fittings are 1", it should be the right diameter. The length is determined by the cable inside the hose that activates the upper (shoulder) purge valve on the BC, which is usually determined by a crimp on connector that forms the end loop.
