Do you need neoprene socks for the fins?
No socks needed, they are adjustable so you can wear them with or without socks if you choose.
It would probably be a good idea. I wore them barefoot or with water shoes. The water shoes were obviously not a great fit. Barefoot was fine in the water, but I wanted something on my feet in between the water's edge and the car. It would also depend how foot-friendly the shoreline was. Something with a little bit of a sole would be great.
I was able to use the fins with bare feet. They are well made and easy to adjust. I am still getting used to the mask, but the snorkel is a quality piece. I am a 50yr old male with about 12 years experience diving in lakes down to 25 to 30ft. Hope that helps.....
