About Head Allegra Jr. Fins

The Head Allegra Jr. Fins are an open heel fin featuring a soft and comfortable foot pocket with quick release buckle system. Head offers a wide-range of exclusive open heel snorkeling fins incorporating technologies and features proven in scuba diving over decades and having made Mares the worldfs clear market leader in this category.

The vented fin blade made from durable, flexible thermoplastic material makes fining for long periods of time easier and reduces the chance of cramping. A soft foot pocket adds comfort and the wide heel strap with pull tab and push-button quick release buckles makes donning and doffing easy. Included with the fins is a mesh drawstring closure bag with barrel lock, which allows you to rinse your snorkeling set right in the bag and hang to drip dry. The mesh bag can also double as a collection bag while you snorkel the reef.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

KATE R  Will these work with a dive boot, or just bare feet?
KAREN K  No. I don't think they will work with a dive boot. The boot would add too much bulk to the foot and it wouldn't fit in to the fin.
JAMES W  I bought them for my Granddaughter and she wears them with a athletic sock to eliminate friction but they would work fine with a properly sized dive boot as well.
ASHER C  My son's feet are 9 1/4 inches....and growing. Which size should they fit?
KAREN K  I'm an adult woman. I bought these fins for myself in Large/Xlarge. My foot length in inches is between 8 1/4 and 8 1/2 inches. I found them to fit me comfortable. I'm on the larger end of children's shoes (between a 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 American children's shoes.) I don't think these fins will be large enough especially where your child's foot is still growing.
YAN G  What size shoe does he wear? These are Children's sizes 9-13 and 1-4.
Shopper  would the junior L/XL fit a ladies size 8?
YAN G  No, L/XL is for shoe size 1-4, which equates to Women's 3-7.
Bill S  My kid wears a size 8 shoe (USA). What size fins do I order?
YAN G  These fins will not fit. L/XL is for shoe size 1-4 and S/M 9-13.
Shopper  My 7 year old wears a size 12.5C and if I buy her the S/M will swim socks suffice or will I need to buy water boots?
DREW A  Depends on the pocket size. I would rather get a bigger pocket size and wear a bootie than a smaller pocket and wear a sock. I prefer a lot of cushion as I push a lot of heavy loads through the water. The thicker Water boots take a lot of stress off of my foot and ankle and I can stay in the water longer.
B C  Socks will be sufficient!
