H2Odyssey Extra Air Source 3 Station Kit Package

About H2Odyssey Extra Air Source 3 Station Kit Package

This Package includes everything you need for a Redundant Air System except the Air Fill:

You're 60' (18 meters) down, and your Primary Air Source malfunctions, you can't get air! What do you do? Pull-Out your Extra Air Source, Calmly Make-your-Way to the Surface, Make-a-Safety-Stop and once back on the boat or on shore thank your Lucky Stars" you dove with the Extra Air Source. The Extra Air Source removes existing limits on Redundant Air currently on the market and allows you to configure a Redundant-Air-Source tailored to your Diving- Needs. Whether you're Cave Diving or Diving Shallow Reefs the Extra Air Source will get you to the Surface and even provide you with Enough-Air for a Safety Stop if configured correctly for your maximum depth.

Having a Redundant Air Source for Increased Safety allows Independent Emergency Air not Dependent on your Primary Air Supply. An Octopus or Breathable Inflator System both depend on the Reliability of your Primary Air Source. If it malfunctions you're Out-of-Air! The EAS3 gives you the Reliability of a Redundant-Air-System using a Dependable Balanced Diaphragm First Stage with a Downstream Demand Valve Second Stage.

The RG3V Balanced Diaphragm, Forged, Black Chrome Plated Marine Brass First Stage Regulator is inherently Environmentally Sealed. The benefit of this type of first stage design is that none of the delicate internal parts are exposed to contaminants such as salt, sand, chlorine or pool acids. These environmental contaminants can cause corrosion and mineral deposits to form on the internal mechanism deteriorating regulator performance. With the RG3V there is a Secondary Environmental Diaphragm Membrane that seals off the spring chamber keeping the first stage completely sealed off from the environment adding a second layer of corrosion resistance. The First-Stage Regulator threads directly into the Neck-of-the-Cylinder eliminating the Need-or-Bulk of a Cylinder Valve, First Stage has a Sure-Grip On/Off Valve Hand-Wheel that is Easy-to-Turn even with gloved hands. The First Stage is equipped with 3-Low Pressure Ports and 2-High Pressure Port.

The Second Stage Regulator has a Bright Yellow Purge Cover, is a Dependable simple Downstream Demand Valve design which connects to the First Stage via a 360 Vertical/ Horizontal Swivel. The Second Stage has a Quality Silicone Mouthpiece, Diaphragm and Dual Exhaust Valves in a Dual Exhaust Manifold for Ease-of-Inhalation/Exhalation when in an Emergency Out-of-Air Situation. The Large Purge Button makes Clearing-the-Regulator Safe and Easy. The EAS3 First-Stage Regulator threads directly into the neck of the included 6 cu ft 3/4"-14 NPSM Aluminum Cylinder, eliminating the need or bulk of a cylinder valve.

The included Lightweight 6 cubic foot Aluminum Cylinder fits into H2Odyssey's Quick Release EAS Bag. The Bag is the best way to mount your Redundant Air System. The Bag is designed to hold the 6 cu ft tank, and Easily-Clips to your BCD "D"-Rings Bag is made of Durable Nylon material with two Adjustable Quick Release Buckle Straps. Kit comes equipped with the handy Station Filler Adapter. Adapter allows your Extra Air Source System to be filled at the Local Dive Store or while Diving from a Boat equipped with a Fill Station. The Adapter has a Cylinder Vale Head that will conveniently work with your Local Dive Retailer or Charter Boat. Fill Station not making you sacrifice your primary air source supply The Station Filler is made of Durable Chrome Plated Brass and Corrosion Resistant Materials If you need the Yoke Filler Adapter that allows your Extra Air Source System to be filled on the beach or where a compressor is not handy, see H2EASYFA Yoke Filler. Product comes with an Owner's Manual and is covered by a 24 month limited warranty.

Questions about this item:

Gary S  Looking for a pony tank to allow me to inspect the underside of our boat once in a while. Does the tank come filled with air? I was a diver years ago. Would I need to get recertified to re-fill the tank? Thanks,
Marilyn S  This will not give you enough air to inspect the underside of your boat and it would be shipped empty as all tanks will in compliance with the Department of Transportation mandates. You will not need to be RE-certified, but you do need a scuba certification to get this and any tank filled by a REPUTABLE dive shop. I would get a pony tank at least at the VERY LEAST 13-19 cu feet in capacity: Catalina Pony Bottle Tanks, Yellow with Pro Valve SKU: AQUTP http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/AQUTP.html#!1, with a pony harness vest/harness like the: Xs Scuba PonyPac Harness SKU: XSSPPH http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/XSSPPH.html#!1 which will hold 10 lbs of trim weight or the Seasoft Quikpak Diving Vest SKU: SSTQP http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/SSTQP.html#!1 which will hold up to 20lbs of ditchable weight, and an basic and inexpensive regulator. Hope this helps! Stay safe!
