the last one I bought was about 10 years ago, and it still works as my spare computer. It is easy to use and needs no maint. except cleaning and batteries. the new one uses a different battery, but the unit still works the same as the old one,and is very easy to read.I dont use any special gasses, just compressed air, so this one works fine.I use it in freshwater springs and lakes or salt water with no difference. PS-my brother still has one ,and it still works fine.

I had no problems with the computer. I'm not a very experienced diver, a few years with a one week dive vacation per year in warm, clear water. The main function I was looking for was the deco time, surface interval and time to fly. I got all of that. I did have a hard time deciphering the imformation that was displayed on the surface. I sat with a dive master and he explained a lot of it. I did not feel that the manual was adequate. The price was great.

Comments about Genesis Resource Pro In-Line Computer Console with Compass:

Read the reviews and thought it would be perfect for me. It has been. No problems reading the information off the dive computer. Easy to use once you are in the water. The information stored in the computer after a few days was pretty much right on to the dive masters dive computer. I made six dives on my week long vacation to Nassau, St. Thomas and St. Marteen. The resource pro computer worked great.

As far as a value computer goes this will be the one.I gave it a full 5/5 because its simple, easy to use, reliable and not a big blow to the wallet.
I tested its Deco settings at depth and it is pretty good, not sure how conservative it is but i feel very comfortable with this.
I was going to buy the Mares air integrated computer but glad i chose this item.
