Came with the tank, so I really didn't expect much in the way of a quality valve. I am very pleasantly surprised by the high quality and great functionality of this valve.

Comments about Genesis Pro Valve KA-70 (3000 PSI):

The over size on/off handle makes it easy to use even with the big gloves we have to wear here in the north. The extended burst dist area makes carrying a full tank a lot easyer.

Doesn't fit in old regulators yoke!

Comments about Genesis Pro Valve KA-70 (3000 PSI):

Was lucky to exchange my new Genesis valves for old Sherwood ones at my local dive store. I have an old regulator that I use on my pony, and it was quite a nightmare to realise that its yoke was too narrow for these Genesis valves. So make sure it fits with your regulator before buying this. Besides this issue, it's a good valve model that I use with my main tanks and regulators.

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
MARC D  for the money they are by far the best tank valves on the market.
Shopper  do these come in a left and right hand version ??
Frank L  No, just right hand. Here we have modular valves: http://www.leisurepro.com/p-xssmdv/xs-scuba-modular-din-valve.
Gary G  How do you replace the dip tube? I have brand new spare tubes, but they are not threaded.
ROBERT H  These dip tubes come threaded and simply screw in. I haven't seen unthreaded ones; they would most likely be susceptable to falling out. If you want to use your unthreaded tubes, you probably could take them (and the valve) to a machine shop to have them threaded to match the threads in the valve.
