Comments about Other "Discover California Diving" DVD:

I regularly visit CA, diving when possible, and hoped this would provide an insider's view of CA diving. It provides some useful information, but it falls a bit short of what I had hoped for.

If this is your first visit to CA to do some diving, I recommend it. This will provide useful background info - it discusses some popular dive sites such as Monterey Bay and Catalina Island.

But I was hoping it would discuss some spots that locals dive - such as Vet's Park and Old Marineland (like the CA Dive News books), which it does not.

One note: if you do purchase this set, skip to the "For Certified Divers" section of the DVD and use the CD-ROM. The "movie" portion of the DVD covers the same information in a travel video format - with less content and a bad soundtrack (but good for a couple laughs).
