Good all-around boot! Has good features like fin strap notch, velcro zipper retainer and gusseting behind zipper. This boot is nice and tall - so you get a lot of overlap between full wetsuit and boot (good thing for cold water). However, if you do a lot of shore diving w/ rocky entries, you may want something with a harder sole. This has a firmer sole than most boots, but it is a bit too flexible for repeated rocky entries. Still, if I had to pick one boot for all-around use - this is it.

I bought these for cold water (~67F) diving. Fit was good, true to size (ordered 2.5 sizes smaller than what I wear in women's shoes). After the third day of diving with them, the zipper on one boot malfunctioned. Luckily, I could wear it unzipped with the wetsuit closed over the ankle. Over the next few days, the glue on the various tabs and plastic parts separated from the neoprene. Basically, they fell apart within a week of diving. Buy at your own risk.

Comments about Deep See 6.5MM Neoprene Women's Safe Sole Boots 10:

Good boot! Low water movement and warm for wintry lake dives. Zipper keeper is helpful in keeping boots positively zipped. My feet are 11.5 (wear size 12 shoes) and I got the 11's as I don't like much play in my boots with open heel fins. They're perfectly snug and comfortable. Overall a solid, durable product; would recommend as a great buy for entry/mid-level cold water wet or semi-dry suit divers.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

        Questions about this item:

Shopper  Are these actually womens-shaped boots or just sized-down mens boots? Are the sizes true (ie women's 6, 7, 8, etc)?
LeisurePro S  They are shaped as women's shoes would be shaped/sized. As far as sizing, the sizes will be true, but if you're on the edge of two sizes, choose the smaller one. Round down for half sizes.
        Shopper  As a rule I wear a 7 1/2. For these dive boots should I go with a 7 or an 8?
LeisurePro S  I would go with the 7.
Shopper  My wife has wears a size 5 shoe. WIill the size 6 Deep Sea 6.5mm Safe Sole boot boot fit? If not what brand has a size five boot that is 6.5-7mm?
LeisurePro S  These boots will all be too big for her. The Pinnacle boot in a size 4 should work well.
