I purchased 2 of these for my husband and myself to use on a supported bike tour where every day about 400 of us dropped off our bags at a luggage truck, the bags were all thrown in and driven about 60 to 80 miles to our next stop, then unloaded onto the ground at the next group campground. It rained quite a bit and the luggage sat on the ground for hours waiting for us to finish our ride for that day. This went on day after day and nothing in these bags was even damp and despite rough use n...ot a scratch on them or buckle broken. The bottom is reinforced with a sort of "skid pan" as well so even dragging the bags around didn't hurt them. I also liked the fact that they opened up wide so you could see straight in and access all of your gear at once. Definitely a great value for the money - these are just as good as the TNF dry bag duffels I checked out at [@] for a quarter of the price!

The one I got has no padding. That was two years ago so things may have changed. It's good at what it does, but once again, you would have to add your own padding.

Well,I use mine on a BMW motorcycle,Adventure bike. So I put a 7 buy 5 foot tent,a sleeping bag,a pillow and my close bag for a week in it. It is very durable also!

There is no padding in the material, just thick vinyl type construction. Very sturdy and water tight though.

Nope, it's a nice sturdy waterproof bag, but is not padded at all. Just the one layer.

Not enough padding for a camera bag. Also, the rolling up system works great to get gear dry in rain, but submerged, water will get in.

Solid bag and waterproof but it is not padded at all. If you can pad the camera separately, this is a great bag but, again it is not padded.

This bag is 30" long. Most airlines will require your carry-on to be no longer than 22", so this bag will be too big.

Roughly equal to about 20-24 ounces of water while in a nalgene plastic bottle.. A little wieght to it but keeps your gear dry! I use it on the back of my motorcycle in the pouring rain..
