does it fit users with large nose? How easy is it to adjust to the face? Does it fog up easily?
EASY FIT FOR 5 DIFFERENT PEOPLE IN OUR GROUP USING THIS MASK.
ADJUSTING IS EASY, ONCE YOU FIGURE IT OUT. DOESN'T FOG ANY MORE OR LESS THAN OTHERS, AS I BELIEVE ALOT DEPENDS ON USER AND PREPPING.
It should fit a user with a larger nose without a problem. I will say that adjustments are a little tricky but, once you get it where you want it the it will stay where you want it without any slippage. I have never had any problems with fogging, just make sure that you prep the mask really well before your first dive. If you use a good amount of toothpaste to clean the coating from the back of the lenses you should not have any problems. As with any mask I would recommend some type of anti-fog (whichever you choose 50/50 mix baby shampoo and water works well, commercial defog, spit, whatever works for you).
It has a decent sized nose pocket. As far as adjusting, it adjusts the same way most other masks do, with a tug of the side straps. All masks are going to fog if you don't treat them prior to diving. This one is no different.
Is the best mask I ever used,
the night before you are going to dive... put tooth paste and leave it all the night , rinse it in the morning ..i do it just one time, and before diving I put salive, and never fog up....
It sdjust perfect to my face.. and other instructor that works with me use it and love it to... 100% recomendable :)
Nose pocket is plenty large enough for all size noses in my opinion. Adjusting is pretty straight forward, haven't had any leaks yet. Haven't had an issue with fog either, but I do treat them before any dive as well.
I have tried many "expensive" masks but this cheapy fits my big head just fine..used it for 2-years so far.. no problems. Use anti-fog for fog free..and shave your face so no leaks.
This is a great mask, it adjusts and fits well and doesn't leak. I use defog and haven't had a problem with the mask fogging up, even when diving in Lake Michigan. I switched to the Dive Rite from a Cressi and am glad that I made the switch. I would recommend this mask.
The nose pocket of the mask covers a large, broad nose without hassle. The low volume minimizes the fog build up. The mask adjustment is straight forward. I found it easier to extend the mask straps to the largest setting, then place the mask on the face and hold it there with comfortable suction. Once the mask is balanced around the eyes/nose, you simultaneous adjust both sides.
