Good Product

from Fredericksburg, VA, US

Works great with the Litehawk or most back inflate bcds. Some 1lb soft weights can fall through the bottom holes.

Great weight pockets to go with the Dive Rite wing.

Great customer service and quick delivery.

I like the old pockets better

arrived quickly and in good shape

I bought to convert a non weight integrated BCD to a weight integrated BCD. Will have to see how it goes.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  I just got these and can not open them by the clip or pull. Do I need to do something?
RALPH C  in a non emergency squeeze the clip and pull.
RUDOLPH W  The pockets were not locked in correctly, you have to carefully inspect the locking mechanism use a small screwdriver and carefully force the latch open, then examine the lock and retainer for damage.
Alexis R  Pull strongly from the end
TOM H  You have to pull firmly on the handle away from the clip in the opposite way the clip clips together. The release is designed to where you will not need to press the tabs also there is a Velcro flap that holds the pockets in place in case of a clip malfunction.
MICHAEL M  Hello there probably very stiff because their new make sure your weights are properly loaded. Once the pocket is in the BC you have to yank very hard on the T handle to get the clip to disengage this is built this way so the weeds don't slide out easily hope you have success safe diving Enter an answer to this question.
Arturo M  Press the tabs, pull clip, tug on handle to separate velcro.
caroline s  does it work on dive rite nomad xt?
TOM H  Yes it will fit a 2inch webing either vertical or horizonal
WILLIAM T  Your Nomad uses a standard TransPac web belt so as long as you configure it right, it should work fine.
Shopper  Does it close with Velcro or a zipper?
WILLIAM T  The weight pocket is secured closed by both velcro and male/female clip integrated into the quick release pull handle.
Steve S  The pocket is secured closed with velcro. You wear it on your waist belt.
WILLIAM T  It closes with the clip on the front of the pocket. It is held in the pocket by the clip and a velcro attachment on the inside back portion that releases when you pull the front clip to dump the weight. It is very secure system that releases the weight fairly quickly when needed.
BOB C  The actual weight pouch closes with Velcro, then slips into the carry pouch attached to your BC and is held there with BOTH a buckle and Velcro (presumably to minimize chances of dropping weight pouch while removing in the water).
Sam F  Velcro Tab.
MICHAEL C  The pocket inserts close with velcro inside the insert to remove excess room when using light weights in addition to an external velcro on the outside of the insert that helps secure the insert to the pocket and then ofcourse the quick release buckle to secure the insert into the pocket. A lot of velcro in my opinion.
BRADLEY S  The actual weight pocket closes with a zipper. These are a great set of weight pouches.
AMELIA B  The inner bag closes with a velcro, what is fine from my point of view. The bag is rather small and can't kold more than a four and a a two lbs block of weight. If you need more weight you should get the bigger sized version
PATRICK L  It's a two piece system. There is an inner pocket that holds all the weights. The buckle on top is what secures it in the pocket. It is very stiff, no chance of it breaking or accidently releasing the weights. There are strategically placed Velcro spots that keep the inner pocket from shifting around... Its hard to explain, but unbelievably simple to operate. Its a damn good system and I recommend them.
