Very Happy!

The Cressi Shorty wetsuit was received in a few days, good condition, quality product, excellent value. Note: Based on other reviews on sizing, I ordered one size up and the fit is good.

Way too small!

I normally wear a large women's I liked the color of the mens, , so I ordered an XL, had read other reviews that this ran small, and was short waisted, that's an understatement, the XL...was too tight for 5'9 180 lb woman! I almost panicked when I could not get out of it...short from waist to shoulders, weird fit.

Way too small

from Webster, MA, US

I bought this to wear when I help out with pool classes. I had a [NeoSport 2.5mm Men's Front Zipper Sport Vest X-Large Black] for a number of years, and the chlorine finally took it's toll on it. I was hoping this would be a good replacement, with a little more warmth (we do classes though the winter as well as summer, and it gets a bit nippy even in doors). Unfortunately it was way too small. Even with the front zip I could not take it off alone. I had to have someone literally peel it off. I'm not sure an XXL would have fit. The XL Henderson vest fits perfectly. I returned it (Thanks LeisurePro return policy!) I still gave it 3 stars because it is a nice suit. Just buy at least one, if not two, sizes up.

Great wetsuit if your smaller than you think u are

from Chattanooga, TN, US

Well made but runs small to size. If u order it, get at least one size larger than u think u need

from Oxford, MI, US

Not a lot to say I like buying products from leisure pro but this suite is way too small. I read other reviews so I thought I would get a size bigger but you need to go up two or three sizes. Now I have to return the suite which is just a hastle Leisure pro should check these and resize them .

Sized way too small!

from Worthington, OH, US

I was not able to use this suit due to me being shaped like a pear. I used the size chart but it was way too small. I loaned it to a friend, who loved it! He bought it from me right after the first dive.

perfect mild temp wetsuit

from Beaumont, TX, US

Excellent 2mm wetsuit. NOTE: Order 2 sizes larger than you wear. I wear a LG and the 2XX fit perfect.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
RAUL L  Comfort and fits right on the money. Leisure Pro has never failed me. Thanks Leisure Pro Raul
Ken M  I've asked for help with size? 5'8"210
Mike T  Hi Ken, based on your height you are a size medium. based on weight you are between an XL and XXL. i would try on a size large or XL.
Doug D  I'm 5'10, 185 and the XL was way too small for me. I had to have someone literally peel it off, even with the front zip. I have a Henderson XL vest and a Henderson XL shorty. I probably need at least an XXL in the Cressi. I returned it for another Henderson vest.
Doug C  Im 5'11 weight 165lbs waist 32 would a size medium be good? Also will this suit good for the all warm ocean diving?
Steve S  A Medium should fit ok. And yes this is good for warm water diving.
KEVIN G  Definitely not. Get an XL at least! I'm 5-10/180lb/33w. I bought a L. Waaay too small! I'm overseas so couldn't easily return it so I gave it away. It was so small I didn't think the XL would fit either so bought a XXL. That fits fine. A little roomy but better that than too tight. I can put it on over trunks without flashing my business to my buddies. Great warm water suit.
DAVID F  I think at 5'11 you would be pushing it. The length is a problem for tall people - front zipper is like a straight jacket making it very difficult to get in and out of. Buy a size bigger and make sure your buddy is around to help get in and out. Great light weight for travel to warm water locations, but I gave up on mine and went back to back zipper.
SHARON B  I bought this for my son. He has a 32 waist and is 5'7 around 135 pounds. We used it for diving in Bonaire in December/January. He liked it.
LARRY K  I would certainly consider a Large and these suits are very tight. My brother is 6-3 and weighs 170 and bought an XL which he is very happy with. Can't help you with the ocean as we are fresh water divers and we use this suit in around 70 degree water.
BEVERLY S  I don't think so. It fits my guy that is 5'8" .
VAN T  you will usually need to add 2 sizes to wet suits for a proper fit. also, don't buy on that front zips, they are awfully hard to get off.
CHRIS O  Medium would be too small. I'm 5'11" 175lbs 33" waist and 42" chest and I had to return the Large for an X-Large and it still a little snug in the chest. these suites are cut very small
PATRICIA T  My husband has this wetsuit in a Large and he is 6'2", 205 lbs. It fits him very well. You want it pretty tight when it is dry.. I think a Medium would work for your son but keep in mind you might have to return it. My husband was diving in Bonaire and said the suit was perfect for the water there.
PHILIP C  It is a nice suit for warm water diving. As for the size, they run really small. I am 5'4" and I have a medium. I would go with extra large. This company is very good about swapping sizes promptly. The front zipper is great for not letting your tank dig into a back zipper but I usually get help pulling off my arms
MATTHEW S  i am 5'11 1/2 waist 32 jeans mine is xl/5 great tropical
JAMES D  I'm 5' 11", 175lbs, but went with the XL/5 due to Chest (40) and Waist (34) measurements from the sizing chart. Suit is comfortable and not tight. Worked fine for me in the Caribbean last year. I'd look at the sizing chart and consider other measurements than height and weight....go with the largest that fits height/weight/waist/chest.
