Have 40 dives on it, mostly boat diving where I usually come in with 1000-1200psi left. But last week's trip 5 shore dives I noticed the reg during it's last 1000-500psi made me suck real hard to get the air out of it. My other shore dive exits were fine if I had 1000psi+ left so I never noticed this before.

I have never had my own regulator, just those rented from dive shops. I love this reg and love having my own equipment. This is a great reg and I am very happy with my purchase after the first several uses.

Comments about Cressi XS2/AC2 Piston Regulator:

Really easy to put together, some free flow issues we will watch for frequency. Would like a longer second stage hose. The price for the unit and the functionality make it a great starter unit. We used it in Woahink lake as a test run and found it funtioned in cold water perfectly outside the freeflow issues.

Comments about Cressi XS2/AC2 Piston Regulator:

I bought this reg because it was on sale. I do solo diving and I made my own pony system for safety and this is the reg I use it for and I feel confident this reg will get me out of any situation. It free-flowed heavily on my first dive with it, but after that, no issues. For more advanced diving, I would defintely suggest spending the money and getting a better reg. This is good for occasional useage such as if it's just for a pony system.

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
GREG N  Purchased for daughter in law due to her Mares failed.
Erik F  Is it good for cold water diving? I had an aqualung reg freeze up on my buddy in water around 48 degrees. I'm debating to get this or a similar reg or the cold water kit for the aqualung I already have. Any recommendations?
SAM M  Yes this works well in cold water, we regularly use it for Puget Sound diving and have had no issues.
Shopper  How may LP/HP ports? Can you adjust the breathing effort?
LeisurePro S  This has the 4 LP ports and 1 HP port. Yes, the inhalation effort can be adjusted from the outside of the second stage.
