The product is designed to fit all divers beginners to professionals. it is easy to grasp underwater, the hose is bright yellow easy to identify in an emergency, slim, can depend on it,,,,etc the only thing i see which may be modified to a harder swivel attacher is the gray bubble defector, any time you open it for service you have to be careful when you closet again, other wise its the best octopus i have ever used.

    Comments about Cressi Ellipse Octopus:

I bought this product as a newer diver wanting to stop using rental equipment. The reviews on many sites listed this as a great value for the money. It works but it does free flow ALOT. It does not like to be floating at the surface and that seems to be where the majority of the free flow occurs. My dive master adjusted it and it still seems to free flow. Since it is a secondary it will work for now but eventually I will probably replace it.

Nice no problems. I tried it out under water worked fine. It is a back up and I did use it to fill a lift bag, other than that no worries whatsoever with it.

Bought 2 for my wife and I, my octopus leaked but worked. Have sent it back and received a replacement that have not yet had a chance to test. My wife's equipment worked perfectly

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
YURI D  Very good quality on low price.
Da Z  I just received this ocotpus from you today. When I breathe out through it, not been in the water yet, I get a flapping sound on exhale. What causes it? Can I correct it? Should I be concerned? The noise really bothers me. It breaths in and out good on both the + and - position. What should I do about it?
Frank L  Out of the water, most second stages will do this. Its the vibration caused by the diaphragm. There is nothing wrong with it, and once you get it in the water, it will work fine.
manolis p  Maximum operating depth ?
CARLTON H  The deepest I have used this octo is about 50 feet. I have taken it on dives down to 125 but never had to use it deeper than 50.
