About Cressi Geronimo Elite Speargun

A new version of the outstanding Geronimo Pro, created especially for those who prefer nuzzles designed with use for circular rubbers in mind. The new nuzzle is extremely hydrodynamic and compact; the standard model sits a single circular rubber, provided with the gun, but it is ready for customization with a second one.

The rod adheres to the fuselage until the trigger is released thanks to the specific course taken by the line over the head itself. A number of improvements have been added to the handgrip: the rod's release mechanics has been updated, the grip itself strengthened, a solid ring inserted for the line, and a V-shaped pointing notch added on the loading sternal support

Comments about Cressi Geronimo Elite Speargun:

Given this gun heavy use over a year now. Mostly dog snapper, black margates and trigger fish up to 10 pounds. Reel came in handy on some nice hogfish one over 18 pounds, and 3 barricuda in 4 to 5 foot range. Replaced the articulated wishbone with dyneema and have gone through 3 bands,2 shafts, and three shooting lines. My gun is the 85cm and is perfect for shooting into holes and 12 to 15 foot shots. Just purchased a Geronimo 2 90cm for spare and guests. The elite is stouter and I like the slotted band loop to add or quickly replace an assembled band.

Comments about Cressi Geronimo Elite Speargun:

Great gun! very accurate even 15ft out. haven't tested on bigger fish but don't expect any problems. Very easy to use but was a little difficult to initially draw band but adjusted quickly.

Comments about Cressi Geronimo Elite Speargun:

This gun is an ace, worth every penny. Haven't shot anything big yet but it can do it with just the stock band. Accurate to 20 ft shown by sniping blowfish and putting it through their eyes not damaging any meat with the thin spear. Rebending of the spear is necessary if your hunting rock because this blows right through the fish. The 18mm single band is more than enough, double bands would be overkill, but a single 20mm would be a nice upgrade. 105cm does it all.

            Questions about this item:

Shopper  How good is the line in the reel?
Frank L  Its very good. Cressi Line.
Adrian H  What about trigger mechanism, is it 100% stainless steel?
Ben T  Made from plastic and stainless.
Shopper  which band is easier to pull back g20 or s45?
BRYAN G  Hi. I have the original s45 on the geronimo elite 105cm. It is difficult to get to the 3 notch down on the shaft. I always pull it to the second notch with relative ease and provides more than enough power for a 15' shot. Biggest thing I have hit so far is a 25" 20 pound permit. And it shot straight through. Powerful band by itself. Not sure about the g20 foe this gun...I've only used the straight band style for my smaller beuchat espadon.
