About Cressi Master Frog Fins, Black

The first strapped fin molded using the exclusive and patented Cressi system with 3 materials. The three materials consist of a comfortable thermo-rubber (elastomer) foot pocket that extends up the side rails of the blade. The second material is the revolutionary new dual density (techno polymer) polypropylene which forms the blade, and in conjunction with the third silicone based material creates a channeling effect. The channeling effect is the characteristic of the fin that enables a high level of energy to be transferred in both up and down strokes of the kick pattern.

The Master Frogs blade with its unequalled reactivity has stringers and reinforcements that are molded from resistant copolymer. The rather long blade, deriving directly from the Gara 2000 model, makes it possible to get the most out of the flexible-propulsive power of the techno polymer material. The absence of side stringers in the final section of the blade makes it possible to side-slip the fin easily in the water, alternating strong strides with frog kicks to break up the strain and to allow fining indefinitely. The anatomically computer designed foot pocket guarantee perfect blockage of the foot and allows ideal transmission of the leg-fin thrusts.

Master Frog is the thoroughbred of the Cressi range of open-heeled fins. Its power is unsurpassed and the fins are extremely lightweight. This light- weightiness reduces the inertial masses to the minimum allowing less resistance to acceleration when needed. This gives the full advantage of the effort-efficiency ratio. Fin is equipped with impact and corrosion resistant quick-release buckles with quality rubber straps. This fin is designed for Scuba professionals, instructors and technical divers who will appreciate its efficiency. Fins are available in sizes Small/Medium, Medium/Large or Large/X-Large are Black in color and are covered by a 12 month limited warranty.

The Cressi Master Frog Fins, Black is commonly used for SCUBA and more. The Cressi Master Frog Fins, Black is most used by customers who consider themselves to be a Advanced among others. I am an instructor and love having a large powerful fin. I had an old pair of Cressi open heal fins that lasted for 12 years. Once they finally succumed to old age I went to a split fin design. While I love the split fins when doing U/W photography the power and comfort of the Master Frog can't be beat. I recommend them to everyone who dives in currents or has a lot other equipement on, such as technical divers.

I had purchase these fins this after losing one of my scuba pro seawing fin which were very fast and powerful. I live in Cal. and dive for abalone and was using the master frog fins and for some reason the fin bended and so when I got out of the ocean I look at one of the fins and saw it curl-up I try to flex it back but it look like the material was stress from just kicking hard. I am going to leisure pro and see if I can return them for a credit and get other pair of fins that are better made I really like cressi products but these fins are not made well maybe thats why they are sale

Comments about Cressi Master Frog Fins, Black:

Fin seems to move laterally in the water more than other fins on the down kick. Not a major issue just an observation. I ordered medium large fins, wear size 11 hardsole tusa booties and use small spring heels. The spring heel post is further back toward the heel than many fins so make sure you measure for spring heels properly. I am/was a competitive swimmer and wanted something stiffer...these seem to fit that order

Comments about Cressi Master Frog Fins, Black:

This is a good fin. Cressi has improved the design and it is very light weight. The only problem is the width is too narrow. It is difficult removing in the water. I had another pair of older cressi fins and they had the same issue. Had to go to Mares fin which I like so far. Returned the cressi to LP no issue. shipping cost to return was about $15 (UPS + LP shipping cost)

A great fin for those who are strong kickers and want one fin for both freediving and scuba. Very stiff so its powerful and will work well in strong currents.

Comments about Cressi Master Frog Fins, Black:

Long blades are stiff and powerful. Foot pocket seems to be big, have to cinch down on the straps a little bit more but no big deal. They are almost half the weight of my old apollos. Good for travelling due to light weight. M/L size will fit in a duffle bag at least 32" long.
