About Cressi Gara Professional LD Fins

After the great success of the Gara Professional and the Gara 3000 LD Cressi has combined the two designs and characteristics into the Gara Professional LD. The Blade is made from a special Elastomer Polypropylene which gives a Longer Lasting, more Fluid, and Softer Kick that is less demanding, making it ideal for covering long distances.

The use of this New Plastic is less Reactive than the Compoflex used in the Gara Professional. It is a Progressive and Controlled Blade, with Flexibility and gives an Extremely Fluid Kick. Together with the Exceptional Lightness and Non-Dispersion of Effort, the Kick is more Effective and Easier than ever. As with the other Gara fins (2000HP, 3000LD and Gara Professional) the Gara Professional LD Fins are made using processes that meet High Standards of Precision and Compliance with Strict Technical Parameters.

Foot Pocket: as with the Gara Professional fins, the New Foot Pocket of the Gara Professional LD has been designed to fit on the bottom of the actual fin blade. This feature, together with a well designed Blade-Foot Pocket Combination, Reduces the Fining Effort and the Dispersion of Energy during Fining. The Shape of the Foot Pocket has been redesigned and Improved further compared to the highly regarded foot pocket of the other Cressi Gara Fins. The use of a New, more Flexible Elastomer, makes the Foot Pocket more Comfortable.

Excellent Fin. I spend about 4 hrs a day in the water snorkeling and cover about 2 miles of water, I never feel like I have anything attached to my feet, but move very efficiently through the water and have the ability to chase down fish. You can move very quickly when you have to and can conserve all your energy when your just looking for fish from the surface.

Nahh... just prettier and maybe a little bit more comfortable on the shoe pocket. Not worth it... get the less expensive Gara 3000

Comments about Cressi Gara Professional LD Fins:

I love these fins! These fins are great for someone who is beginning to freediving as they do not overtax your muscles. I have back problems and needed a very flexible set of fins to freedive with. After extensive research I settled on the Cressi Gara Professional LD fins and could not be happier. They work great for me and I highly recommend them, however I might opt for stiffer fins, if i was making deeper dives or spearfishing.

Comments about Cressi Gara Professional LD Fins:

So far, for Spearfishing I have been extremely satisfied with these fins. I'm faster and more confident in the water I feel more comfortable staying down longer on a breath hold because I can get back to the surface quick with these.

Adrian H  Can the blades be replaced?
NASSIB H  No i do not think these blades can be replaced. but!!! that part not withstanding these are a boss set of fins. I was a divemaster when i bought them, and now an instructor. they are a delight to dive in! i use them on drift dives, freediving with dolphins, and anytime i do not have to be on top of the reef!
Adrian H  Thank You Nassib, I have a lot of equipment to buy as a new spearfisherman, hence I was hoping to get fins with blades that can be replaced later on. Why cant this ones be use on top of reefs? I am going to be spearfishing in an area with reefs, what kind of fins do you suggest. Once again, thank you.
