This is a good one, very good value

I am pretty price sensitive and wanted to get a really good wetsuit for cheap. My LDS's had all kinds of wetsuits for $300 and up, this one was half that at $134.95 delivered. After reading all the reviews, I found some to be helpful, but most weren't because they seemed to center on the company, shipping, fit, etc. They also seemed to be written by excited customers who just got their shiny new toy in the mail. So... I decided to wait until the excitement wore off and share my own thoug...hts. I don't work for the company, FYI. 1. I did 24 dives in the Bahamas this month, March of 2017. Water temp was consistently around 78F. I did not wear a hood. Generally speaking on land I tend to get cold easily, so I was worried a little, plus the air temp was barely 80F. I was warm during the dives, most averaged about 40 minutes, my longest dive was an hour. Some had me a little chilled towards the end, but I think that was a buildup of 4-5 dives each day and the air temp not really letting you warm up your core. All that is just long winded for saying the deal kept me plenty warm. 2. Construction seems good. It has the traditional velcro keeper for the zipper, and it also has the extra velcro closure for the neck. I found the neck seal to be very good and not leak cold water down my spine. The secondary neck velcro may be the only weakness, I am not sure how it will hold up over time. I'm not sure because I have no experience, but it didn't look much if any different than all of the other wetsuits I shopped for or saw on the boat. The suit also has some nice knee pads, but I think that if you're kneeling then you're not diving. Don't stir up the sand, and don't tough the coral. :) 3. Fit was very good for me, but this is all kinds of variable as we all are shaped different. I'm 5'7" and 162# and got a medium. I thought the arms and leg lengths were very good. Torso and hip areas were also very good, not a lot of room, it was snug but snug like you want it. 4. It's a 5mm, so getting it on and off is going to be harder than a thinner suit, but it wasn't like it was all that hard. 1st dive of the day the suit was dry, so it was easy enough to get on. The 4 cuffs are the hardest part. For the rest of the dives, I went to the shower on the dive deck and ran hot water in it to warm it up, then slipped it on. That took a little more work, but it wasn't all that bad, IMO. Most days I had my buddy zip me and unzip me since my arm flexibility is poor and there are 2 velcro's to deal with. 5. A Russian diver was on board for the week, and he had the exact same wetsuit, but his looked older. I don't know how much older his was, but the silkscreened printing was cracking and flaking a little. I'd say this is typical in wetsuits that i have seen. But the material, the seams, overall, the deal looked to be holding up well and this guy dives all over the world. 6. Yes, the buying experience with Leisure Pro was stellar. I had a guy emailing me on a Sunday night answering questions about 7 different suits I was looking at, and the deal showed up ahead of schedule on my doorstep. 7. I bought 3 other wetsuits from my LDS for my family, and paid 2x the price for each of them. After seeing them in use every day I am convinced that quality wise mine is probably better than theirs. My zipper pad thing that keeps the zipper off your skin was twice as thick as theirs, and we all had the same velcro attachments. Not sure what else to say, other than I hope this helps in your search. IMO, you cannot beat the price I paid, the comfort and fit were great for 24 back to back dives and I don't see any reason why I wouldn't buy this same wetsuit again if I needed to.

Well-made, quality materials, great price. I'm 5'11 180 lbs 44 chest 35 waist 32 inseam. Ordered 2XL as some reviewers said it runs small. The XL was too big, sent it back and exchanged for XL. XL fits well. Leisure Pro was prompt to exchange, and free return shipping too!
