Hi. I need a bag for my scuba equipment, one that has wheels and can be wheeled around, is not very expensive, and can be a carry on on a flight without any problem. What do you recommend?
I have carried this on the plane and on the boat for 6 days. Took a beating and still looks new. All of my gear fit, even long fins. Rolls great, even over rough terrain.
Cressi Moby Light is a good lightweight bag that easily accomodates a full set of dive gear and clothing. Wheels easily. Too large for carryon.
This bag is very light, roomy and surprisingly sturdy. I can fit not only my gear, but some of my son's gear as well. I have traveled with this bag around the world with various carriers and after many years and flights it only has few minor outer shell scratches and tears. The best bag I've ever owned and intend to buy another one soon, since now i will need to pack 3 people. I highly recommend this bag
Bag not very sturdy, too big to carry on.
Get a better bag!!
I love the bag, simple, light and just the right size for gear. Unfortunately, the airlines did not agree that it was carry-on, so I had to check it.
I would definitely recommend the Cressi Moby Light 6.4 lbs Bag. I've dragged it onto multiple flights, cruise ships, and dive boats often stuffed with gear for two!!! This bag has been awesome and we've thought about buying a second bag to store away for future use!!! :)
The bag is too tall for a carry on. It will hold 45 lbs of gear.
I LOVE this bag!! Very lightweight but roomy enough for everything I need for a week long dive trip including 2 wetsuits, several swimsuits, beach towel, water shoes plus all my typical SCUBA gear. There are no pockets inside so I gather small items into either a dry bag or a pelican case and pack them inside my BC vest or at the bottom of the bag for safe-keeping. I've had the bag for 2 years and have taken over a dozen trips by air as well as transported my gear by car a number of times and the bag has held up to the various types of rough handling without rips or structural damage of any kind. I would recommend this bag with high value for the price.
It is very difficult to carry on all your gear as a carry on. But this Cressi Moby Light bag is your bet bet as it is one of the lightest on the market. Depending on the size of your gear, you may be able to fit most of it in this bag.
My son used this bad to go divng in Bonaire. It is very light and between his and my dive bag, we got all our gear in except weighs amd were under the 50lb airplane weight limits. This bad is too big for carry on if that is your intent. Otherwise, as a checked bad for dive gear its perfect. Advise, any sensative equipment like dive computer just take with u in your person bag on the plane. I used my wet suit and fins to protect my BC reg and primary reg when i pack.
Great bag but u woud have to check it, to big for carry on
The cressi light bag is awesome I think it's too big as a carry on but plenty of room for gear and some clothes. With just scuba gear weight is about 30 to 35 pounds
It's bigger than carry on size
Otherwise a great bag for the price
