This bag is a couple of pounds lighter (unloaded) than my TUSA roller dive bag, which is why I bought it. Every pound counts with airline baggage limits these days! Still, the Cressi Moby 5 is easily big enough to overload and exceed the 50-lb. limit for bags of passengers flying coach. This problem is compounded by the lack of interior compression straps (you tend to cram more stuff in to keep things from shifting all around). After only one dive trip so far, I can't really attest to this bag's durability, but I can safely predict that the flimsy cloth zipper pulls won't last long. The zippers themselves seem a bit questionable, too, but we'll see. Previous buyers advised me correctly that the side fin pouches are long enough for my TUSA Tri-Ex fins with spring straps attached. I could probably even fit one pair per fin bag. But I could actually do without the fin bags altogether and just put the fins inside to help stabilize and protect my gear while filling the space and keep contents from shifting without compression straps. The fin bags add unnecessary weight and make the bag so wide it's, ahem, "un-wheel-dy." As much as I like the outside accessory and reg bag compartments, there's no way to securely lock the zippers. So if you're concerned about theft, I'd hand carry anything real valuable. The bag is well-cushioned, and the liner is removable for easy cleaning. A couple or three interior zippered mesh pockets would have been nice for little odds and ends, but I just roll those inside my wetsuit to keep them from shifting around. Bottom line, the Moby 5 holds all my scuba gear (wetsuit, travel BC, fins, masks, snorkel, reg, boots), safety gear (SMB, DAN pocket mask, cutting tool, dive light) plus enough clothes for a week without doing laundry. I haven't used the hidden backpack straps yet, but they're there if I need them. I think the Moby 5 is a good value, but I may have to make some minor modifications to add interior straps and lockable zippers.

This bag was used twice and the entire side of the front pocket ripped out. Very poorly constructed. I contacted LP and yes it was covered by warranty. I was to send it back, they would send it to the company and it would be fixed. What they don't tell you is you have to pay to ship it back. UPS delivery on the bag was $77.00, 1/2 of what the bag costs originally. Still haven't gotten the bag back so I don't know if they attempted to fix it or sent a new one but this bag is certainly not worth the hassle or the money.

Comments about Cressi Moby 5 Bag with Wheels:

I bought this bag to replace my old Aeris dive luggage (that I absolutely loved) in order to travel with all my dive gear for work trips. I was very happy with my choice; the size is perfect for a full set of gear, cold water wetsuits and a weeks worth of clothing to cooler climates. The only problem is that the bag is so roomy you can very easily go over the 50lbs limit for most airlines. To save on weight, I ended up just walking with my regulator (which I usually do anyway so that it doesn't get lost/damaged). If you're looking for space, quality and good protection for your gear, this is the bag.

Comments about Cressi Moby 5 Bag with Wheels:

I bought this bag to consolidate all my equipment in one bag for travel. WOW it this bag big. Typically I travel with a snorkel bag for fins etc... and a mesh stuff sack for BCD. The Moby is HUGE!.

Main compartment- I fit my BCD, full 5mm wetsuit, mask, snorkel, O2 analyzer, Snorkel bag and stuff sack, Towel, and a few sets of clothes. Still have planty of room for more stuff.

Front pockets- the larger lower pocket is the eexact size of most regulator bags. the upper is a little smaller but still plenty of room for go pro, wrist computer,Led Zepplin CD and possibly a small cat!

Side pockets- perfect for fins. I put my Mares Volo Race full foot fins in each and it was a tight fit, but for these longer fins an almost perfect fit.

          And EVERYTHING is padded.

The only negative is there is no strap for the inside of the main compartment. I don't miss it but I can see where other people were put off by this.

Comments about Cressi Moby 5 Bag with Wheels:

This bag was very nice for approximately 5 or 6 dive trips then completely "self-destructed". Entire pockets (fin and regulator) either ripped open or ripped completely off the bag. Miraculously no gear was lost in transit.

The lightweight design, ease of rolling, good zippers were great...before it fell apart.

I do not think it is unreasonable to expect a bag at this price point to last at least 10-15 trips.

This bag is great! I travel and can fit all my dive gear as well as some clothes, eliminating a second bag. I do wish this bag had straps on the inside to snug your gear down, but its no big deal.

Comments about Cressi Moby 5 Bag with Wheels:

I haven't traveled with this bag yet however it seems to be sturdy and well made. I love the design with the side fin pockets and the 2 front gear pockets. I plan to carry both my wife and I complete scuba rigs in this bag. (minus tanks and weights of course) The wheels look a bit oversize and sturdy as well which will be good. I would recommend this bag.

KATHY C  Good reviews and it looked like it would fit my needs. I have been totally happy with this purchase.
Christine S  Hello Everyone Thanks for all your feedback! I'm using it to tote personal training equipment around and needed something sturdy that would hold around 70 lbs.? Sounds like this material is sturdy enough. Thanks again.
LINDA C  we have used for years.... gets bashed around during travel, but still holding up well.
Christine S  Hi Up to how much weight will this bag hold?
EDDIE K  This bag held all of my gear including weights; 7mm suit, 5mm hooded vest, BC, reg, fins, and 36 lbs of weight. The bag only held up for one year before falling apart. I will say that it saw some pretty rough use, dragging it around to dive sites.... I think it would hold up if used only for transporting gear for travel. Use a heavy plastic tote for throwing around dive sites.
