I have had a full BC for a few years and my wife has been renting on trips. We decided she needed her own integrated weight BC but we're worried our gear would go over weight. We decided to purchase 2 (pink for her... With her pink AquaBionic fins, I always know where she is). After our first trip. We couldn't be happier! The Cressi Air Travel 2.0 was a perfect fit for both of us. No binding and felt natural on our bodies. The D rings are solid and we both had good balance on the surface. I w...ould recommend this BC to anyone.
I initially had the Air Travel 1.0 - It was a fantastic BCD. I eventually sold my gear, and began upgrading. I just received the Air Travel 2.0 - I can tell you that Cressi definitely made improvements in the quality of the BCD since the 1.0 - It seems to be more rugged. The chest strap now adjusts to 3 different positions. There is now an additional upper tank strap to help secure the tank (although i never had a problem with the Air Travel 1.0 tank moving). Upgraded D-rings and other minor ...improvements. I am definitely happy with my purchase. I wish it had a cummerbund, although it does stay very secure when diving. Overall a nice improvement over the Air Travel 1.0

I'm 6' tall and 185 Lbs. Will a medium fit me in this bc? I'm not sure where to measure my waist at and also my chest to determine my size according to the sizing chart.
Chris C
I'm 5'11", 210 Lbs, and overweight about the waist. I purchased a "large" Cressi Air Travel BCD back in April 2015. With all the slack taken in, it fits quite nicely. I probably would have been fine with a medium. I'll be fine with the large even if I gain 25 pounds (because I have a lot a slack in the straps to let out), but if I lose weight, the large will be too loose. I know that doesn't answer your question but hope it gives you some insight about the trade-offs of moving from a medium to a large.
Other than that, the Cressi Air Travel has been a great BCD. I primarily dive in the Caribbean and travel there by air. This BCD is light weight and convenient for traveling.

I think a medium would be way too small for you. I'm 5'9" 155 and use a medium...
CINDY H
No.
My husband is 5'8" 180 lbs. he uses a large. I would say you need a large to xlarge.
Waist at belly button, chest at nipples.

Michael, I'm 5'8'', 167lb and I thought Medium fit me just fine. It's a good BCD. The only annoying thing about it is that I have to set the top strap right below the tank narrowing or just leave it be function-less. Otherwise, my head hits the regulator when I look up. Now I'm thinking maybe I should've gotten Small instead. Just thinking out loud. My point is try it with the tank.

I'm 6'2 and weight 220 and wear 34" waist jeans. I have a large but wish I had gotten a Medium. I really can't get the waist strap tight enough for me. I have to pull every bit of strap though the buckle and its still not quite as tight as I'd like it to be. Hope that helps.

Hello, does anyone know if this BC has one or two tank straps? Thanks
Dave B
It has 2 tank straps. The upper strap is a velcro strap. The lower "main" strap is a standard lever action tank strap. Your tank will stay very secure. I have never had a problem with my tank moving.
ANDREY G
It has 2 straps: the top is all Velcro, the bottom has a plastic buckle and Velcro. They hold the tank very securely.
JUNE H
It comes with two straps: the top one is a standard velcro strap, bottom one is a standard cam band.

I've searched about an hour, including Cressi's own website, and there's not much information on the Air Travel "2.0" update. Where are the two cargo pockets located (is there still a drop bag?) and why is the lift capacity only published for the Medium size? Does the lift capacity drop precipitously back down to the 20's for the Small sizes (as is the case on the older Lite models)?
I'm trying to determine if this new Cressi could perform double duty in cold water, too. Thanks for any leads.
Stefano D
Cressi sent me the lift specs, so I thought I should share that here:
XS and SM = 10.2kg / 22.5 lbs
MD, LG and XL = 16.3kg / 36.0 lbs

What are the differences between the Cressi Air Travel and the Air Travel 2.0?
Dave B
Air Travel 2.0 seems to be built a little more rugged than the 1.0 (I used to own the 1.0). Also they added a much better upper tank band which is velcro. It is much more effective than the upper band that was on the 1.0 - Some other minor changes are that the chest strap now adjusts to 3 different positions so you can move it up or down lower on your chest. Also the word "Cressi" is sewn into the fabric. On the 1.0 it was a decal that peeled off after about 8-10 dives. Overall it seems like they improved the construction of the BCD. It is an outstanding BCD for travel. You feel like you're not wearing a BC when you dive with this as the whole front of your body is clear and zero squeeze when inflating.

The new Cressi Air 2.0 version comes in black with charcoal or pink details. It also has 2 stainless steel d-rings added on shoulder straps. Changes are mostly cosmetic.
ANDREY G
I think 2.0 is the updated version. A little thicker material and in my opinion a better look. The main features seem to be the same. I've used a only a few times. Haven't found any flaws yet.
