Hi, I am 5'7", weigh 125, bust 33. Waist 26 and hips 34. What size? Small or medium??
Thank you everyone who tried to help me out. I ordered the small and it fits great, with the exception that the sleeves are about 2 inches shorter than my other wetsuits I have. I guess that's why they have the thumb loops? Anyway. Fits great and will be perfect for warm water dives and to later under my other suits for warmth! Take care, all!
Rule of thumb when sizing any wet[jump]suit: ?Always wear your wetsuit as tight as possible, without limiting your movements of course, to avoid creases and baggy areas, provided you have a slim-athletic body shape.? If you?re kind of overweight (chubby) body type, choose an as-tight-as-possible wetsuit for your body volume (without impairing your movements) and trim the excess (i.e. long sleeves) with an alteration service. When in doubt about sizes, purchase two or three different sizes of the same wetsuit, try them on at home with patience at your leisure, and return the sizes that don?t match your body type. If you choose a wetsuit size with lots of creases and baggy areas, there will be lots of water exchange and/or accumulation and protection against cold will be impaired. This will be reduced to a minimum with an anatomically tight wetsuit. Good luck.
Hi Catherine. To choose correctly the jumpsuit's size, always go by your height. Your current height tells me you'd be fine with a Small/2 size but that might leave you with baggy areas because you are kind of skinny (or athletic) Am I wrong? An X-Small/1 size would be perfect for your body but might give little short arms sleeves. Play safe and order both sizes (X-Small/1 and Small/2). Compare them at home side-by-side and return the one you definitely know it's not your size and/or comfort. If you need more detailed info about this wetsuit, shoot me an email (hpowerpAThotmailDOTcom) and I will gladly answer all your questions and concerns. Good luck.
I am athletic, yes. It's so hard sometimes with different brands making sizes differently. Some wetsuits that I have are size 8 and then the others 2! It's crazy! Thanks for the help!
Catherine, I posted another advice regarding sizing of wetsuits. Hope this will help. But if protection against cold is your issue, send an email and I have info for the best wetsuit ever. Regards.
Oh, no I'm not worried about the cold. I have several wetsuits. Just haven't used cressi before. I just wanted this for my diving in Cozumel and Belize.
I?m also athletic shaped and Cressi wetsuits seem to be custom-tailored to my body shape, so I always wear this brand. I have several wetsuits, all from Cressi because of this. I think Cressi will fit you nicely. Go for a little tight for great anatomical contour. Good luck.
Get the medium. You do not want the suit too tight
Based just on your height I think I'd go with medium. But LP is great about exchanges if something doesn't fit.
If you go online and search the cressi size chart for women, you fit the size S category. If you like a slightly looser fit, then go with M.
Sorry but I'm not really sure. Best guess and suggestion is to go with medium. Unless you like your suits super snug, medium might be more comfy. You can also still wear rash guards inside the suit for added warmth. Good luck.
