About Aquabionic 1 Open Heel Fins

The Aquabonic1 Open Heel Fin, Water Adapting Responsive Propulsion (WARP), a Revolutionary Principle of Three Dimensional Blade Geometry that creates an Automated Adaptive Response for Underwater Propulsion, Anticipating a Divers Strength and Style of Kick, the Blade Geometry Responds by Actively Generating a 3-D Profile to Achieve Maximum Efficiency and Power. A New Category of Fins, One Awesome Fin Design!

Constructed from three High-End Thermoplastic Rubber (TRP) Materials chosen for Specific Performance Parameters, WARP Technology provides a Power Gradient of Unmatched Responsiveness and Performance. Anticipating Divers Kick Impulse Actuators (Core of WARP Technology) Adapt, Optimizing their Position along a Prescribed Arc of Motion. By Cupping and Spreading the Actuators Proportionally provide the Instantaneous Blade Shape Required. Anticipating Movement, the Actuators Articulate and Automatically Adapt their Position Based on the Kick Intensity of a Diver.

WARP Technology Excels at all Technical Kick Styles, making the WARP 1 the most Versatile Fin for All Levels of Divers. Comprehensive Testing by Elite Combat Divers proves that Reduced Kick Amplitudes Generate Increased Speed with Less Energy Expended and Air Consumed. The WARP 1 Anatomy consists of a Y-Frame which attaches the Foot Pocket to the WARP Blade System. The WARP Blade is made up of the two Outboard Actuators a Stiff TRP with a Soft Flexible Center Membrane these two components work in concert to Channel the Waters Thrust Directly Behind the Diver without Water Pressure Slipping or Rolling-Off the Blade Surface, in short Pure-Power. The Membrane provides Expansion Compensation that Equalizes Tension between the Spreading Actuators.

Aquabionic1 WARP Fins come standard with Spring Straps. These Spring Straps have a Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) Heel Pad that is Ergonomically-Designed for Comfort and Security. The Grip Loop is at an Offset-Angle that follows the Contour of the Heel in swimming position so that it neither Presses on the Achilles Tendon nor protrudes as a Catch Hazard. Inside the Stainless Steel Spring is a Strong Nylon Cord that Limits Stretch to avoid Stressing-the-Spring.

Easy to use Springs Automatically Compensates for different Size-Feet and Boots. Spring Fin Straps are Depth Compensating because they will Compress-to-Changes in the Thickness of your Boots. Aquabionic1 Fins are available in Multiple Sizes and are covered by a 24 month limited warranty.

Comments about Cetatek Aquabionic1 Open Heel Fins:

Great fins, with good power when required in current and very comfortable. Although I'm a beginner with limited experience, I lent these to my guide and he was positively impressed. Bear in mind that in order to adjust the length of the spring strap you must screw/unscrew one of the buckles to shorten/lengthen the spring.

      Questions about this item:

Catherine F  I usually wear size 6.5, will small still be too large for me? Will the spring straps be tight enough to keep my feet in the pocket?
Ben T  It will be to big.
Judy S  How much do the fins weigh and how long are they?
GREGORY E  Mine are about 3 feet long and the weight is the same as my spare "rocket fins". I do not care to much about the size except that they fit in my equipment duffle. And they do. I will say that even if you thnk they are large and you do not like the weight, they sure give your kick more power in a strong current and choppy seas.
