Comments about Casio GWM850-1V G-Shock Tough Solar Power Watch with Digital Dial Code:

Wanted solar so don't have to keep changing those darn batteries, although they do last long time in typical G-shock. Since it's winter, it's typically covered by shirt/jacket so the battery quickly ran to "medium" level. 5 hours in a sunny window fixed that. So, just have to remember to charge it every now and then in the winter. Because a lot of the face has the solar panel, a lot of the letters and numbers on the dial are too small. Need glasses to see them.
Too many options on the mode dial, believe it or not. I only wanted stopwatch, timer and an alarm. So more complicated than needed. Don't buy this for the "atomic timekeeping". It's only for certain areas, and might be problematic when you travel. Didn't switch automatically to DST even when left in the window overnight like they advised.
