About Casio GW7900B-1 G-Shock Solar Atomic G-Rescue Watch

With the never ending pursuit of toughness and technology, G-Shock introduces a Solar Atomic addition to the tough and rugged G-Rescue series. Already iconic for its four point protection design, large case, oversized buttons, tide & moongraphs, this new model keeps the same design philosophy of allowing for high functionality and operability, in the harshest conditions, even while wearing gloves. With its monotone, grey IP coloring and aperture band design, this new addition to the G-Rescue series not only looks tough, it also very comfortable to wear.

The atomic timekeeper function receives time calibration radio signals automatically up to six times a day (up to five times a day for China), which keep the displayed time accurate, also has a manual receiver function; the signal received for the US is WWVB at a frequency of 60 kHz, UK is MSF at 60kHz,Germany DCF77 at 77.5kHz, Japan JJ40/JJY60 and China BPC at BPC 68.5kHz, world time with 31 time zones (48 cities + UTC), city code display, and daylight saving on/off function, watch has full auto EL backlight with afterglow making it one great watch in low light conditions.

Four daily alarms and one snooze alarm which is great when you travel and need to get up on time, hourly time signal, and a 1/100 second stopwatch with a measuring capacity of 23:59'59.99". Stopwatches have measuring modes for elapsedtime, split time, and 1st and 2nd place times. A countdown timer with measuring unit of one second and an input range of one minute to 24 hours (one minute increments and one hour increments). Watch has tide graph (tide level for specific date and time), and moon data (moon age of the specific data, moon phase graph).

Watch is equipped with auto-calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2099), 12/24 hour formats, button operated tone on/off and watch is accurate +/- 15 seconds per month. The storage battery is a solar rechargeable battery. There is a battery power indicator, a power saving function, and an approximate battery life of a whopping 9 months on a full charge without further exposure to light. This tough solar powered watch is shock and water resistant to 660' (200 meters).

Comments about Casio GW7900B-1 G-Shock Atomic Solar Multi-Band 5 Watch:

I love it! The only problem right now is the screws can spin. It might fall off later on. If it falls off, i can try asked Casio for the Plastic Screws for replacement.
