Comments about Bare Sports Bare Trek Boots:

Have owned the boots for a few months and have used on 40+ dives, I have no complaints. They protect the booties of my dry suit, are comfortable, well made and I don't even know I have them on when I'm in the water. So far, have held up well. Only complaint is that I had to buy another set of larger fins, but that would likely be the case with any boots you would purchase.

Comments about Bare Sports Bare Trek Boots:

These fit correctly to size, little slippery on the boat ladder, the ankle strap is useful for keeping the boot from slipping off and a place to hold the laces, not sure why they are so expensive, could likely buy a boot of this quality for thirty bucks in the mall.

Comments about Bare Sports Bare Trek Boots:

Needed a pair of boots to use with my drysuit that has neoprene socks. Had a drysuit with trilaminate socks that were terrible, don't get that if you can help it. Even latex socks would be preferable over trilaminate.
I digress, had rockboots, they were ok, so I thought I'd give these a try. Very happy so far, comfortable and I like the strap at the top, it helps contain the laces.

The best boots ever tried on. I have about 300 coldwater dives on one pair of boots and soon I will have to buy me a new one.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

                Questions about this item:

DARRYL B  looking at the bare trek boots, do they run larger then regular shoe size?
ed n  Yes, I wear a 10 1/2 wide or 11 in shoes and boots. I ordered an 11 and they fit fine with wool socks and the neoprene footies on my drysuit. I had to get xxl fins to accommodate the big shoes. I recommend rockets or turtles (heavy fins to keep your feet down when wearing a drysuit
Shopper  My compressed neoprene drysuit has attached boots which are the same size, material, and thickness as a regular soft-rubber soled wetsuit bootie. In other words, it is not thin like on a shell suit. I use them with size XL jetfins. That being said, my foot size is 12, so would a size 12 Trek Book fit?
Charles W  My drysuit is made the same way yours is and I also have a size 12 foot. The size 12 boots work great. The material has some give which makes it an even better fit. I have both the DUI bots and the Trek Boots. I think the Trek Boots have the best fit and comfort. As for your fins, the XL will work fine if there was room left when you have you normal wetsuit bots on.
richard s  i have the size 10 bare trek boots. they do not fit into either of my pairs of fins that i own. i could probably fit a size nine boot instead. i am wondering..... what is the width of the size 9 at the widest part ? i am hoping they are narrower so they will fit my fins. i don't want to buy another set of fins.
ANTHONY C  Sorry Richard. I have size USA 11 ( UK 10 ). Dont know about the size 9. Had to buy a new pair of fins. Wont risk having cramps on my toes wearing a tighter boot, besides I'll have room for thicker socks if it gets too cold. Yeah buying more gear sucks but you wont regret it when it come to a comfortable dive. Ant
